Yes. I'll happily take it over the crappy Break system.

I voted yes, because there were so many different ways and tricks to get a CB. It really allowed the player to be creative. 6’s system doesn’t allow that which makes this game boring to play.

No. Hated DOA5's stun game.

No, not really. Was trash for some characters, while others it was an unstoppable weapon.

Found CB quite balanced and very fun actually. I also enjoy the Break system (but not as much). Having both would be perfect for me.

Neutral.

The only things I do not want from 5 is it's sad excuse of a SS system and Power Launchers. Everything else is neutral. You are still guessing in stun so CBs hardly make that much of a difference since Fatal Rushes also leads to stuns that can't hold after except with Break Holds.

CB's was just an extra guess in a heavy stun game. I really see no value in it. I'll take the shorter stuns over a mechanic that for most of the cast was super obvious and got held frequently. You rarely saw it used in tournaments for a reason. Also, we have fatal rush now and changes to BH's would make FR way better.

It would be interesting if they made BHs cost a full meter like break blows so people don't just spam them to escape situations everytime. I feel they did that with sidestep attacks but sidestep attacks costing 1/4 of meter doesn't really do much since you can build meter up quickly if the match is in your momentum

@KasumiLover You are still massively guessing in stun though even without BHs, BH cinematic hold functions is what throws people off momentum. I do agree that it's a poor excuse to avoid getting hit, but to constantly play in severe stun games over and over again is what made them add it in the first place and for the newer players to not guess so much between Highs/Mids/Lows/Throws.

Oh I know that but making them have more costs like that could teach people not to really over rely on it since even if you use it you're still at risk of getting hi counter thrown or such if the opponent already knows you're gonna use it from certain situations like a fatal stun or after those wall people hazards.

Reducing the amount of guesswork was vital in talks. DOA5 had huge guesswork as well, but the layer was not that far off from DOA6 either. Certain moves in past DOA didn't stun, now stun in DOA5 as well as DOA6 etc. The small minority of people keep mentioning the neutral game of DOA6 was better than the past games, yet DOA6 has proven nothing on what it actually is either which is ironic.

I dont think the neutral game is better, but its much closer to 2U and 3 which is the only thing I like about DoA6. DoA4 and 5 were just so stun heavy I hated that aspect of them.

Yeah I like the lessened stun, it makes guessing alot more reasonable since you know that your opponent can only so certain things from a set + stun adv. Plus the damage is better too and throws deal more damage which makes battle for the most part move alot quicker than DOA5LR did, especially with how stages are set
