Hot take. Not every RPG has to be open world and that some RPGs like Vesperia or even FF7 for the PS1, had something called an "Overworld" and was arguably a good formula that should stay / come back to. Especially for JRPGs.
Hot or cold take, I genuinely believe that DOA5LR probably had another 2-3 years left so that DOA6 could of released in a proper timeframe to not only escape COVID, but also released in a state with proper budget, love, and potential longevity support.
Ok maybe budget and support not sure lolol considering it's KT, so even if we waited it's not a guaranteed final concluded product.
What's the biggest misconception / misinformation a character you heard of? I'll start. Akira. In DOA5 years ago, one of the biggest lies told is that he needs you to block. Not blocking is actually the worse option. Here is Akira's innate rock/paper/scissors:
If you block, you get guard broken.
If you "don't" block, you'll get counterhit (worst option) due to his high damage.
DOA BATTLE DOME - It'll be a battle playlist of FT10 for DOA. - It'll only be a full-on recorded series instead of streaming since streaming sides is already...
Bayonetta is out on First Descendant. Just so that people know what they are getting themselves into:
- It's a Bayonetta Skin cosmetic.
- The character itself is not in the game.
- Emotes from her various poses from the games are in TFD.
- All characters in the game can use the cosmetic skin (except the dudes for obvious reasons, though missed opportunity for them to add Luka or Rodin outfits for the dudes).
The most disrespectful NG message I seen was when someone said Wuthering Waves is superior to NG in every way. Combat or not, the moment you enter the gacha territory you lost all credibility in my opinion lol.
Still found it interesting that Square (or probably SquareSoft at the time maybe) actually almost bought Tecmo many many years ago. Wonder how that would of looked in another timeline.
