    The 2 day one right? Yep I just put my other account on my cousin's ps4 and got that trial. Though I know I'm only gonna use up 1 day. lol

    Anyone have any or tips on how to position your thumb on the DS4 D-pad? I've been getting nothing but wrong moves when I input the commands

    Focus around trying to hit the tips of the D-pad with your left thumb. The end tips of the D-pad stick out a bit more so that makes it a little easier to get intended inputs. Diagonals and 33 motions will always be annoying unfortunately.

    If you just getting into mk I would recommend using Scorpion. Takeda much harder for beginners.

    Well idk when I'll play MKX again. That might be a one time only deal since I don't go to Ignite often. Plus I still don't have a console of my own. Again I would use my cousin's Ps4, but I don't wanna keep mooching off him just to use his ps4 and he's not into fighting games.

    Ah, well I'd suggest just spreading the word of these on your social media choices. That's at least something.

    No wonder players hate story mode sometimes. It's mostly too long and players just want to get in on the action. I can see why... :/

    In my opinion the story mode in a fighting game is a pretty unique feature: it's not a main one that is able to higly contribute on the goodness of the product (where for example is a fundamental part in an RPG) but at the same time can give an overall different picture of the game, and overall of the attractiveness of it.

    Few people say that VF is not one of the best FG out there, again the low popularity of it in the West is IMO given from the poor connection with the characters even because lacks totally of a story mode.

    So in the end, my thought is that in a very particular way a good FG (and consequent characterization) of the characters is very important, not able to say if an FG is a worthy one (because this come overall from the gameplay), but again very fundamental for the popularity and the perception of it.

    Hey DoANoob, have you a way to know what are the new characters in free trial (I know that there is a repetition, but I need a sure confirmation)? I'm asking it from yesterday xD I can't make my article on DoAW without this info...

    I was searching Twitch for DOA streams as well as and I saw an image of the next trial characters. Its Lei Fang ad Jan Lee now. As for their dates, I did not see that. Sorry wish I could help more on that. If my cousin ever brings his ps4 over again, I'll try to give you the full info.

    Since I don't have MKX and probably won't get it anytime soon, I spoiled myself by watching the story mode online and boy is is it cool.

    Lol, I remember that I did the same thing with MK9 seeing all the story on You Tube... including the full matches of the player! (I'm crazy and with too much freetime, I already know it...)

    However, the piece of advice I could give to you is that you should pay attention to the animation and decide how you respond to connecting the link from Chifu K to Tenfu. You could react auditorily, at which you could listen to the sound effect or visually; when she just hits the opponent with her legs.

    @Pictured Mind: Well, I need to correct myself actually. In the past Kasumi's teleports required a stricter timing because of the more complex execution (same with Momiji's Izuna) but I was just using examples for reference to how hard it sometimes is to describe the timing of a particular move.

    Now their inputs are easier and thus the timing is automatically made easier due to the fact that you have to pay less attention to execution. Perhaps Hayate's Raijin would've been a better example (that timing is awful as hell, imo -_-).

    That moment you're watching a DOA stream and see a Raidou player using nothing, but the Torn Sky Blast or the EWGF and you say to yourself:

    They did use a fair amount of 66K but other than that, I didn't see any other moves. :( Good throw punishing and defense though.
