    I guess to them, that is a new character XD. I wouldn't myself want an actual guest again, but if they did collaborate with another FG company to make a new charact, I'd love that. TN making a character by themselves is like asking someone who can only draw cats to make something new

    This is likely the very first series where Akira was nerfed in every single edition update and yet he is still a good damn character.

    His worst nerf was probably from Ultimate where they converted his 33P+K into a short stun on NH.

    His 3P+K took a baseball bat hit, it's not like he truly needs it when you are granted a free stun for blocking. The change was pointless, that I have to admit.

    But as you know, those vanilla nerfs are super relative. You have to remember that at the same time, other characters were losing all kinds of broken vortex shenanigans.

    Balance isn't as simple as "My character got nerfed, therefore is now less viable". Gota look at the big picture with whats happening to everyone else too.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly sure WR 6PP is neutral if the second hit connects on block. I forgot about 8K lol.

    Oh yeah it definitely is. I remember sitting there one time when I did it on block because I totally forgot that the move was neutral.

    WR 6PP I've never really used other than for combo enders. It's definitely a move that needs more attention.

    I think via Twitter someone asked him on a panel if he played any video games, I hear he responded saying that he has a PS4 but does not play much games and people in the panel/there were asking him his PSN ID and telling him to stream, jokes etc. Unsure if he actually told people his ID. (If he actually has one)

    Huh, interesting. Hayabusa's handstand OH caught Brad in his handstand kicks. Hilarious to see his head snap when he was never standing lol

    Ah so basically at the start of the match Brad went into handstand pre-round start and then Hayabusa did his handstand OH and caught Brad from it. It was odd from a visual point since Brad is upside down but yet Hayabusa's OH made it seem as if Brad was standing up the entire time.

    How the hell did Ryu's OH beat anything from Brad's handstand, though? Every sane option Brad has from that stance should be faster than Ryu's OH. Did the Brad player just sit there and not press anything?

    I haven't tested it yet but possibly that the Brad player waited a much later time for Ryu's OH to register before him. It was also the max OH damage as well so he definitely placed a button there. I just did not think it would be possible since he's handstand.

    DOA5 Lobbies have been reduced quite a bit due to SFV's release I hear. They'll come back....they always do! huehuehuehuehue.

    I myself am somewhat guilty of getting into the Persona series due to the air-dasher, and then retroactively getting into the RPG's. It does happen.

    That is a valid phenomenon, but it still seems to me like the region-restriction on DOAX would be a barrier towards magnetizing such an audience in the West, at least to an observable degree. Though I will admit that the game has been getting a lot of media attention, which may prompt enough newcomers to go through the hassle of importing it.

    I could be wrong on this. I suppose we'll see in time.
