Back teaching is invulnerable. Just block. The game doesn't stop when you're on the ground. The problem is that people think they can still attack when they're the on ground. The bigger problem is that the game is in a state where they CAN think that.
I'm fine with invincibility on the ground until you're back on your feet. Just tech roll backwards. The problem I have is with wake up kicks. Why is someone on the ground able to do an attack that has invincible start up, tracking, AND have it be fairly safe on block? Why is it that in order to...
I usually main someone I click with gameplay-wise and sub characters I actually like.
Main thing for me is that I don't want to complain about bad match-ups. When I lose, I don't want to be able to blame my character. That's why I'll always sub characters that can deal with stuff that beats my...
I actually like playing against people who are way better than me. Like people who would win 99 out of 100 games. If they'll play me, I'll always go back for more. I'll keep replays and stuff and see exactly why I'm not winning. I have terrible execution and even worse reactions so I have to lab...
I do it depending on matchup. Against Ein, Akira, Ayane, etc, I'll do 61H once in a while to keep them honest. If a Hitomi is trying to keep me pressured, 43H. Usually, though, I just use the mid ones and high punch.
Make wake up kicks -60. I want enough time to sidewalk behind you and get a back turned combo. I don't mind no force techs if the guy standing doesn't have to be scared of someone on the ground.
Eliot actually has better stuns. Especially with lows. Tina's lows are pretty terrible except as crushes (which are really good).
And if we're talking about what happens when people don't know how to fight Tina... Well, people don't know Eliot more. No one knows Eliot strings. That shouldn't...
Eliot's throw game is among the best in the game. 66 damage HiCH reset throw, 77 damage HiCH low reset throw, and a 113 damage HiCH launch throw (not cieling dependent). Hella long strings and delays (also safe and tracking ender for almost every string). Parries, good crushes, good lows (+19 on...
Okay, I'll give you P4. I'm not convinced about Eliot, though. I think they're about the same. Tina does far more damage and is heavier and faster, but Eliot has way better mixups, defense, and area denial.
