At neutral you need to know the speed of your opponents attacks, and you need to pick a crush to crush highs. Mila vs Kasumi: you can't beat her jab, you have to crush it, you can jab to beat her mids. The only other thing she has are her own crushes to beat your highs; she doesn't need...

Yes. 3H+K crushed high as well as jumped over lows around the 14th frame. There's that, too. She doesn't need it though. I forget because I didn't use them much. It was easy to lose momentum if they chose to take the damage.

She can still do everything she could in vanilla, except crush high and low at the same time.

Mila can keep pressure almost indefinitely, with speed faster than some striking characters (hitomi). If they really wanted to nerf her they'd slow down her 6p or her jab. The other changes havent done a thing; she can do everything she could in vanilla in a different way.

There's no way hayabusa is that high. He just doesn't have the tool set. At neutral he relies on crushes, holds and jabs because his mids are slow, but I wouldn't say his jab strings are that spectacular. He doesn't have ways to keep pressure as well as any grappler with the same speed mids...
