Her 6p string having a good mid kick and punch ender with good stuns seems pretty scary. Love her animations.

I only played her in II, just really didn't like how she was in III or IV.

Lunar is the best weapon in ngII. The XXY combo is short and very powerful, plus 360 ET is broken. I basically used nothing but it for Master Ninja mode.

Yeah the lunar and DK are no where near as strong as in 2. I ended up just using the basic sword and scythe for most of the game.

I don't really have a favorite roster, it's hard to say. I just go by which ones had my favorite versions of the characters. Still, I actually liked V's roster quite a bit, one of the few I guess. Oh, and does anyone here have IV or V on 360? I'd love to play sometime.

Talim is incredibly popular, yet no one played her.

I still need to go through master ninja and ultimate, probably get to that sometime.

A lot of the kof folks from what I've seen are actually pretty happy with the way Mai is looking in doa, they lament the way she looks in kof in comparison haha.

Those little animations were awesome though. So were the post fight gifs.

I guess they thought if the fan was a mid that it would be too good. I guess that makes sense. A few other things I noticed. Her jab seems to have a good amount of range for a 9 framer, not as good as tengus but a lot faster. Her uncharged PB is her old blowback, and it seems to create a lot...

As a genra player I have a unique perspective on mai's fans. Harken back to genras lightning in doad, you could hold to avoid them, or just block. True they were mid, so you had to respect them even more, but genras recovery wasn't so good after throwing them out, and they were minus on block...

Nice, only two weeks.

Mai will be played more. She's a far more popular character than Nao.
