Alright I just wanted to compile a list of moves players don't normally know or do because it isn't in command training. This could be moves/thorws/holds that only happen/altered at wall or just not listed.
Universal
:4::h: for air mid punches
:6::h: for air mid kicks
Bayman
:6::f+p: water...
Low holding already beats all highs, holds all low attacks, and all standing throws.It also recovers fast enough to beat out whiffed attacks. It does too much imo.
I reccomend that a standing throw cause an unholdable stun for low holds.
It's nerfed stop doing it scrubs.
In all seriousness it's pretty damn effective, the game needs real unholdable stuns and more natural combos.
Lets discuss our favorite mechanic in DOA and how it has been changed in DOA5.
+solid evasion tools(bokuho, SS moves, P+K, 66p, etc. . .)
-most unsafe character in the game
-lowest damage output
-her best tools are all mid punch(cb, sitdown stuns, 3 in 1s, etc. . .)
Good against linear characters (Jann Lee, Mila)
Bad against grapplers (Bass, Tina)
Bad against defensive...
1. P+K - Same as in DOA4, crushes almost every thing above the waist, her follow up punch can cause a GB.
2. SS K, her most evasive tool, can be cancelled into bokuho
3. 33P 4p can be done from wake up recovery, second part is her 3 in 1
4. BKO throw, her most damaging throw.
5. While in BKO 6p...
In the alpha build each character had an advanced mid punch and mid kick counter. I noticed that some of the characters didn't have them in their movelist in the latest build. Did this concept get killed for everyone, do the alpha demo characters still have them?

Do we not have one based on actual results? I know we can go days talking about the situational tools X character has that makes him better than Y character, but tournament results would give us something more substantial to discuss. it would also be integral to helping shape DOA5 character...
