    I'm a novice as well; lots of 4P and 1P on my end. And I use 6PK a lot, too. And worse, I use PK way, waaaayyy too much (Kokoro muscle memory).

    Ayane's regular mid-kick hold. Yes, her expert one is a much better hold, but I'm a huge fan of the Sophitia School of Neckbreaking. Kokoro's low punch hold. Brutally simple, it tells the opponent "Enough of that 2P shit" better than words ever can.

    That makes sense. Brad's not an easy character to grasp, so it makes sense that the people using him really know how to use him. Similarly, people who play Ayane are either novices (6K2K, 4P spam, BT roll H+K/H+P, overusing 6PP, 66KKK) or advanced players.

    That's my updated list, sans Ayane, because I like fighting against Ayanes. Though I think my issue with Brad Wong is lack of character knowledge.

    That's exactly why ninjas wear glasses. As much as Kokoro rocks the thigh-highs and garter belts, I've been settling on her C2. With glasses, her hair down, and her RB hair ornament (brown/white/black). She's a sophisticated ass-kicker.

    As Kokoro, I usually play mid-range and poke/space with things like 1K, 66P, 3K, 4P series, etc. I try to aim for either counter-hit fishing for stun/launch , or getting them to block and freeze enough to sneak in throws.

    1K I think is i18 as well. For some reason, I was thinking 6P+K was i16 or i17 before I posted that.

    Ayane has BT 2K at i18 (same speed as Kokoro's 6P+K, admittedly). What does Gen Fu have? I see your point in that I don't think other characters should have them either. However, 6P+K just has a combination of range, speed, and pseudo-safety (because of the follow-up mid) that would make it...

    Also, change her throw damage (i5/i7/i10/i12) from 45/50/56/65 to 47/53/60/68.

    Admittedly, I don't know Gen Fu's full potential, but as long as it's not a one-hit-death situation, is that necessarily a bad thing?

    She was good in DOA5 1.03A too, even if you never used 6P+K.

    6P+K is pretty much the one move that deserved to be nerfed. Fast lows shouldn't give stun on neutral. 1T used to give guaranteed options, and it was beautiful.

    I generally hold, but sometimes I like to be a bit risky and do something like whiff Heichu grab and Heichu P+K their whiffed kick. I don't always get the spacing right, though...

    No, 1PT and 3PT are their own special grabs, though I think they go into regular Heichu if you grab them from behind.

    Yeah, it's pretty much 2T if you want to low-grab. Tracking Mid-kick out of Heichu... sounds like a great idea!

    270 is fine, but I really like the pacing of 240. Also, block-and-punish becomes a real thing even for non-grapplers.
