Yes she was. Honoka had real issues which made her low tier in my opinion. She will be more balanced after the patch though.

I have a feeling that the removal of Hissatsu K as a wall splat will allow it to be used as a wall juggle. For example 4K2 (W!) > Ducking PP > Hissatsu K > ... or 8P > Heichu P+K (W!) > Hissatsu K > ... Also Hissatsu K launching higher is interesting. I wonder if other maximum damage juggles...

Holy shit. Honoka got buffed a lot for the upcoming patch. I wonder if she will jump a tier thanks to all these changes. :O

It seems like Honoka is the character who got buffed the most in the patch upcoming Tuesday. These are her changes: Changed to be able to use her strengths better while right next to an opponent or while in Hissatsu-no-Kamae. P: Changed advantage on normal hit and guard from -2 frames to -1...

The Japanese still consider Hayabusa and Akira overpowered, apparently. Otherwise they wouldn't nerf them.

Either that, or they could reduce the amount of recovery frames of his WR 4K. I would also like to see his 214P being brought back to +2 on block and 4H+K to -1 on block. The way the moves are now (214P -5 on block and 4H+K -5 on block) feel like there isn't enough reward for doing such slow moves.
