I'm not trying to say that guy (and his team), specifically, should head up KI3. The point is Microsoft, I would think, has the ability to task some dev other than Rare to the job, rather than be locked into having Rare (who has none of their former KI team members anymore) do it.

Just to note (and I could be wrong) ... but NCR was the same weekend as MLG Colombus, also ran KoF, and I believe was said to have had ~60 entrants for it. So, it's arguable that quite a few more players would've shown at MLG if there wasn't that conflict.
