Certain things are worth reiteration. The consensus of a debate between lower level players does not reflect reality in any game. Of course debate is still good, but why in gods name did people try to make a tier list...

And C) Not official Most of the people who play this game have a flawed understanding of why things are dominant, what works on paper and what works in practice. I wouldn't trust a single one of you to tell me what was high tier and what was low tier in this game.

No. She was first introduced in DOA 4 as a nonplayable Boss character, unless you hacked the game. She was playable in Dimensions, but nobody played Dimensions. That just leaves her DOA 5 iteration. There is no one alive who has been playing Alpha "for years" competitively.

Convoluted tools are bad for the game, period. You need intelligible options with differences between them so the mindgames actually make the game interesting enough to play. For Alpha, all roads lead to death. All options are unintelligible.

Except we actually know the alpha matchup.

The summary PL made from the start was a pretty good indication of her general stupidity, I thought. The big thing she got from Ultimate was a knee launcher out of float, which effectively completes her third CB as a viable means to take away 60%+. She is stupid as-is and already banworthy...
