oh yeah, Project L is still coming out, the game that will either set a new standard for online fighting games or will be forgotten a month after release, who knows
@DestructionBomb Bottom line CH's are the great equalizers, doesn't matter if you're a low dmg strike character or a high dmg strike character, once CH is in play we all doing dmg
@Force_of_Nature only other fighting game I know where CH's are as serious as they are in DOA is Koihime Enbu, normal combos in that game are short and only do 9-14% dmg, but if you land a CH with overhead, sweep, or universal anti air, game suddenly turns into marvel and now you're doing 50-80%...
Nothing wrong with having ridiculous dmg, something which both DOA5 and 6 have in spades when compared to the older games, it's just that high dmg should be the exception, not the rule
maybe we need to go to those DOA4 days, back when certain characters could barely break 70 pts of dmg while others were casually draining over 100 off every touch, it'd be unbalanced but it'd make more sense than a game where a Swedish Loli and an American Pro wrestler can both do the same dmg...
I said it for DOA5 and i'll say it for DOA6, not a fan of how every character can drain half your life in a single combo, damage discrepancy between characters needs to make a comeback
post this image at the begining of your videos if you want to quell the confusion, once that's there they only have themselves to blame if they don't understand
the ancient feud between numpad notation vs motions rises again
dude was probably some street fighter head who only understands qcf, half circles, and double tap, but you put terms like 236, 41236. and 66 he don't what's going on
jk, mostly
Been having a blast playing Fighting Herds, but it gives me major SF x Tekken vibes with how rounds keep going to time and how it takes forever to kill your opponent
Meanwhile, you got Arcsys who, as of right now, have a whopping 5 different games they're working on, DBZF, GBFV, Strive, upcoming RWBY game and upcoming DFD game, and those are just the ones we know, the disparity is staggering
True, it would be nice if more anime/airdasher devs were large and profitable enough to work on multiple projects; the case for alot of studios is that they'll make one game, and essentially build off that one game for years cause it's cheaper than making something new (Arcana heart 3 was...
I'm sure the game will be quality, I'm just sick of playing Arcsys fighters, I love anime fighters and airdashers but damn, when the majority are being released from the same company, I sleep
If the game is busted in a way that makes it more deep and interesting then sure, broken games can be fun, but if its busted in a way that severly hampers the viability of multiple functions/characters and you just gotta sit on your hands and wait for a year, or years for a re-release that fixes...
