Recently I've see more Rigs (mixup some more), campy ass Hayabusas (NIN! K, NIN! PPP), campy Lisas (what else is new?), Helena, and more Jackys (again, mixup some more).

Even button masher Lisas are not campy. Lisa is too awesome for that. Ok jokes aside, you've seen Lisas? I never see her or any other grapplers for that matter (Well Mila here and there and is Ryu classified as a grappler?)

I dont see any Ryu Players on PSN and on XBOX. If I want to play against ryu players then I must play against master , brute , g-gill or godly so less people play ryu in my online experince.

what i find funny is how there are little to no rachels. you'd figure with all the whining and begging TN got to bring her into the series that she'd be way more popular than she turned out to be, but i guess since she's no longer brain-dead and OP and requires some semblance of skill and work to win with her...It scared everyone away

It just shows you for what reasons people pick a character. You should ask yourself why you want to play a character. Do you want a character with a broken tool that can be abused? Do you want a character who is placed high on the tier list? Or do you want a character that you like for their looks, personality or fighting style? If you pick the first or the second option you're gonna be upset when the character gets patched.

I've been playing Rachel since day one. Why? Because I like her. I don't care about other "rachel fans" (and I mean the people who dropped her after the patch). I also want to say that I love patched Rachel. Fuck that overpowered stomp that can be spammed because you're at frame advantage anyways. To me it doesn't really matter how good she is. Of course, I want to win games. With Rachel I can do that. Nothing to worry about. Rachel is my girl.

I'm talking run away and 4H+K whenever they were approached, even when stopping short. No combos, no good plays, just stay as far as possible and knock back.

I find it interesting that you and Brute seem to be the only ones that don't run into Ryu 70% of the goddamn time like pretty much everyone else -_- (Trade you some Ryus for some Ayanes ). Helena is also far from rare unless you're playing at the lowest skill levels.'

Lisa is very awesome, but aside from like, 3 people on PSN, she is one of the most irritating characters to fight in lag and is placed alongside Hayabusa and Ayane in terms of characters that look retarded as hell when played at a scrub level. Other than that I kinda like the chick. Flashy and lively to boot! And yes, for some reason Hayabusa has i4 & i6 grabs, along with an i10 jab.

Ryu is really rare , ok I meet some 3 or 4 players but they are really so bad that my eyes are hurting to watch them I mean they call herself very good but all they have done was only spam no izuna drops even the 236T couldnt do that they use onygion + 6 P + K at very large distance. They use ryu at his lowest level etc .- short said spamming all the time and playing with very very low level without focus on his movelist. If I am watching such players using my main is just a direct hit with a dagger to my heart. For me is Ayane very boring and annoying. I am a kind of player who is playing with the characters which I really like to play. I prefer Kasumi than Ayane. I know if I play more characters I will get more famous and could make more videos for example combo videos in that case more subcribers but I dont need that. I am happy with my and

Trust me, there's nothing more than I'd love for Ryu to be "really rare" but the reality is that his teleporting ass is frickin' everywhere! As for Ayane, you find the character with the 2nd or 3rd largest moveset (after Brad Wong) to be "boring"?! I know her playstyle is not for everyone, but compared to majority of the cast, she's one of the last characters I'd consider "boring". But to each their own dude! Don't worry, PSN random Ryu players assault my eyes also with their bullshit.

It's an attempt to make up for his lackluster OH options that most grapplers have. TBH though I think Bass/Bayman etc deserve the faster throws, too.

Besides the jumping oH does Ryu have any other OHs? I swear, I just fought a Ryu and his 6T behaved like an OH, maybe it din't but I knew I used Sarah's 6P right when he did it and my punch was just swallowed.

Anywho, does Leon have any i6, i4 etc type throws? He has some good throws for sure.

He's the jumping one, and that same one coming out of the teleport is also on OH with the same properties.
The only other one he has is that handstand one he does which sucks ass so you rarely ever see it.

No, he's 5/7, but those throws deal a shitton of damage.

Reminds me of how in vanilla, when Mila had an infinite, EVERYONE used her, but when they fixed that, everyome claimed she sucked now and then nobody used her.

Except me, I used her from vanilla launch to this very day because shes cute, hot, cool costumes, and satisfyingly brutal.

I'm tempted to pick up Rachel just to pick up the slack, but I absolutely refuse to just spam the same juggle strin/loop over and over again like the other rachels I see.

Alright I can't agree with all of that because of personal opinions (I feel like her costumes are the leftover pieces of shit that are in the infested asshole of TN but let's not talk about that) but I know how you feel. For you Mila is the same case as Rachel for me. Thumbs up.

I love running into Lisas online because she's such a rarity. I mostly see higher ranked players use Lisa the most. She is so underrated.

Which I find a bit peculiar because I ran into her all the time in vanilla. I love fighting Lisa offline because it's always an interesting spacing challenge to deal with her. But she can be aggravating as all Hell online, because most PSN Lisa's just throw out the most obvious shit that you could hold while half-asleep offline (KKKK or 6PPP for example), along with a stockpile of OH's that seem pretty much impossible to duck in online lag.

I'll admit that my Lisa knowledge is slightly limited at the moment due to not having faced any non-laggy ones in a while, but when utilized properly, she can be surprisingly effective but I still reckon she's no higher than Mid-tier-ish.

Characters I wouldn't mind seeing more often are: Brad Wong, Bayman, Zack, Bass, Pai, Jacky, Ein, Eliot, Leon, Rachel (to an extent), or LeiFang.

I just wish there could be more character variation. At least on the bright side, the higher your Rank, the less often you encounter Momiji (you just get Helenas instead >.< lol).

If everyone starts using Pai, you'll regret this lol. And Brad Wong I wouldn't mind seeing him either. But honestly, I like him being a m ore rare character because he is impossible to read at high level play. Even though very good Brad Wong players piss me all the way off its fun trying to figure out "Do I duck low or high?"
