I can't believe you think this work of yours is meh. For a work in progress, preview sketch or whatever you want to call it, i think it's an absolute stunner & i would love to be able to draw even remotely close to this. If this was my art I'd be pretty damn proud of myself but eh I'm not a true artist like most of you fellows are so maybe i don't understand the whole high expectations of artistic perfection like you guys do ;) I'd imagine the more you practice drawing the higher quality of execution that is expected? I'm not sure how the mindset of an artist works, so just a guess. ;)

Either way, as a mere bystander/spectator in this thread. I absolutely love your drawing of Rachel donned in her dress, so thumbs up from me mate :cool:

The more you learn about art the easier it is to see flaws and the less you practice the harder it is to correct these flaws . I haven't had much time to practice due to school so I'm getting a bit rusty :oops: but thank you very much :')

I think that she wasn't Rachel but a tribute on purpose just for the things that you mentioned.

Ok, after a freaking Hiatus... (I blame GRID2 [awesome racing game btw])
I came back to say that Kasumi wasn't looking so good. so I guess I'll make up for it lol in a bit I'm about to draw Kokoro... again. But not her 1P but maybe her DSRV outfit.

lol, nice! I think it resonates with animators and those of us who have had to put up all those things (tweens, FBF, user-reviews, etc.)

Anyway, I made another issue (finally) in my web-comic. Just a quick one, but it has a few Ninja Gaiden/DOA homages so I thought I'd share it here for those interested.

That was awesome! I even started drooling when I saw that demonstration of the FBF animating technique. I even tried dabbling into animation myself recently. An old preview of the WIP I have. I made more progress than this and it's much smoother, but I never bothered updating the upload for the sake of hiding spoilers:

I'd totally be working on much more, but I've been killing myself working on this comic. I have 7 out of 9 pages completely drawn out so far and plan on adding the text once I finish everything up. I'd post more of the pages I have so far if anyone wants or if you guys would prefer to wait for me to actually add text to everything first <.<

Sweet. What tablet do you use? I want a Cintiq but I'm not swimming in money, so I'm looking for a decent tablet that's reliable and works well in flash and photoshop.
