I know waht you mean but the Hayabusa that I like is DoAU and DoA 3 because of his handstand skills. He is faster you are right. Do you know what I am missing too ? His shout when you drop your oppnent down. TAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! XD

My biggest wishes for DoA5U:

Old School style Hayabusa

His maskless costumes e.g. DoA1 C4/5 DoA3 C1/3 DoA2U C2/3, DoAD C2/3

and that TAAAAA!! on cliff Izuna Drops especially since Lost World is back and hopefully Suspension Bridge it's a custom to get a cliff Izuna from the bridge in 2U and to Izuna through the bridge in DoA4

Things I want for Hayabusa in DOA5U:

• Ongyoin critical burst move. Maybe H+K, stats similar to 9K (jumping, mid kick, but tracking!). Make it look like a cool roundhouse kick, maybe similar to Ayanes 1H+K. All the other chars got critical bursts in their special stances and Busa needs a tracking move in Ongyoin that can't be beaten out by a low punch.
• 7P does not transition into Ongyoin. 7P4 does. More evasiveness.
• 46H: changed to combo hold. Damage consistent with the Ongyoin T. Also we need to be able to perform it in critical stun, which right now, we can't Makes Busa harder but better if played well.
• And, most important: Make lows more dangerous! Like: 1PK, 33P2K and 2H+K: change stun on counter hit and higher from 13F to 15F

But giving him is old handstance back would be mighty cool. I'd also really like for him to have an airthrow in that stance, kinda like Brad but cooler looking All those times I relaunched with 214K but couldn't hit after that with anything would be a thing of the past

I think it was the best moment that I joined this community. Finally here some Guys who think the same.

The second half of that match is played so insanely well by Sorwah, it almost seems choreographed.

Changes I want to see:

• More string mix-up & possibilities (particularly from ongyoin to combat 2P)
• Revamp 33K/ongyoin 2K
• Faster (some dmg nerfs could balance that out)
• No more ong 8P, 8K or 8T (new ongyoin moves balance that)
• Expert mid K hold can be done from stun
• 3H+K provides more than +2 frame advantage (with Ryu's speed that's just sad)
• Make his low crushes actually crush lows

Essentially, I want people to stop turtling against Ryu because of the teleport attacks which are useless but do require your attention to fight. The only time the teleports are good is when your opponent is on the floor in a wake-up situation, and honestly, in that situation I find them annoyingly stupid. Thus, I want Ryu up close and personal so that he can apply pressure with guard breaks and consistent crushes. This will force the opponent into holds or sidesteps, which is a perfect bait for HiC Izunas. Obviously on the defensive, he should be hard to use (ie: expert izuna holds) but very effective if done properly. Less gimmicks, more badassery.

That's my two cents. Feel free to agree or disagree.

This right here is why I want classic Busa back imagine Hayabusa with his classic handstand and speed with his new tools (some nerfed for balancing ofcourse) he would truly be the Super Ninja he should be.

I'm sure most if not all Hayabusa fans can agree here.

handstand, secondary Izuna scream for cliffs, speed and all his awesome costumes including(but not limited to) DoA2U/4 C2 and DoA5U Hayabusa would be the best Hayabusa of the series if that was to happen

I also miss when he would say "sekiori" right as his Izuna counters connected on the ground. It let your opponent know: "Oh shit; it's coming..." then "TOOOOAAAAAH!"

They just need to pick a damn direction and stick to it really. This version was poorly thought out imo. I want 3F+K on hit to give a free force tech as well. The grappler idea would have been kickass if they would have done it right.

It's probably Hayabusa so people wouldn't get confused with the Street Fighter character Ryu.. as that's what most people think of when you say Ryu rather than Ryu Hayabusa.

When I mention I love Ryu, people tend to say "Eh, he's alright," and then I realize that they are referring to Ryu from Street Fighter or one of the other 5 billion Ryus. When I say "Hayabusa is a badass," everyone knows exactly who I'm talking about. Thus, I think "Hayabusa" is a much better identity for him and should remain his primary name of reference.

Only thing that confuses me is that I thought in Japanese you swap given and family names, so I figured it would be "Hayabusa Ryu." But, even in the Japanese versions, they always say: "Ryu Hayabusa." I'd love it if someone explained that to me,.

I called to a japanese friend because of your Question and he told me that their name to their good friends or in the family with the first name because of their courteousness. They call Ryu Hayabusa because in Japan if you want to name their first name even you dont know this person you must say his or her the full name. The courteousness is in Japan very important. I hope I could help you.

I think he meant why it's Ryu hayabusa rather than Hayabusa Ryu, since the Japanese tend to put last name before the first

e.g. Narukami Yu, Satonaka Chie, Hanamura Yosuke etc.
