Totally disagree here... 1.03 did have some nice system-wide changes but the character balance was terribly done. They ruined 3 of my main characters (Pai with 66H+K nerf, Mila with SST nerf, and Alpha with H+KK nerf). My only characters that escaped nerfs were Lisa and Kokoro, but here's the funny/sad part... I've seen nerfs done to both of them in 5U. Lisa with 1K and potentially BT 7K, and Kokoro's 6P+K buff from 1.03 is being taken away. Rather than make characters scarier, TN makes them weaker. What fun is that?

Must say that I have never seen anyone use P+K if they are anticipating a low. The parry itself doesn't jump over lows, it's the mid kick that comes after which only has a few active frames. So even if you just mistime it slightly the opponent will get a high counter hit on you

And all I'm saying is 8h+k is more reliable for lows. P+k was designed to be a parry that can track. Its main purpose isn't to be used as a low crush. The fact that the timing isn't constistant enough to make it reliable. I have crushed lows with it before ill admit however not on a consistant enough basis to rely on it. But you said yourself that a sarah player has no excuse for not having the time of executing the low crush down than proceed to say doas crush system is screwy (which it is) thats why I don't try to rely on crushes that much (except genfus 3p )

The point I'm trying to make here that you came off very hostile and said good sarah players should be able to time it perfectly when honestly its not her most viable way to crush lows. Which is why the experience with the character factors in. We can end up agreeing to disagree if you wish.

I know right, why does he suck so much? Is he because he wants to be modest and let the player win, or because he has no idea what the game is about? Sure he is not responsible of the technical aspect of the game, but I thought he was a fan of Lei Fang, at least.. he sucks, even with her. Shimbori-bear is cute. ^_^

Remember that he needed to make Lei-Fang jump the entire tier list in DOA5 just so he could play. And even then Master beat him before DOA5 even came out not even looking at the screen (Master was backwards).

I have no idea why Shimbori is so inept at his own game. Very strange.

Seems to be a recurring trend in TN. I remember playing against Itagaki during some event that they were doing for Doa2U. He was pretty bad, but he at least knew what he was doing.

You need to keep in mind that developers usually don't play their games for long, so it's pretty unrealistic to expect them to be great most of the time.

To be fair, she DOES work at a diner.

But on the other hand, her diner uniform is a ball cap, not a visor. So I call bullshit!
