Between the numerous costume contests and all the crossover theme packs, I ONLY NOW just realized how lazy TN is being with regards to designing new costumes. I'm guessing they're putting most of their "creativity" for designing costumes for doax3 dlc.
Still want more throwback dlcs though...

They are though aren't they, the last pack had new designs. Also they are bringing out a set every month so they are still supporting the game.

By my count, there were only 3 costumes from the last pack that were original to the pack (Marie, Honoka and Nyotengu's casuals). That's THREE OUT OF SIXTEEN costumes that were new designs. As for future packs, how many of those new packs do you suppose are crossovers and therefore they didn't really spend much time actually designing new stuff?

They haven't done a single unique outfit yet so I don't think they're gonna start with Momiji if they didn't for Marie or Kasumi. They could recolor her C3 (I think? The one with the red skirt) to match this though and add some purple tights to itpretty sure her costume will be
this costume is hardly original only minor changes to her c3 (literally just remove skirt and fundoshi + pallet swap) which is why i think it would be most likely.

I just checked, while you do make a point, technically, that's still just ONE costume shared by both of them. That makes it 4 new designs OUT OF 16 (one of which is used by 2 characters and has such a minor change most people wont notice the difference from earlier releases).
The sleeve length isn't minor to me, but that's just me, but you're right, the concept isn't completely new. Speaking of which, when is Naotora getting a casual outfit? I want something else to use beside her pop idol, bunny, schoolgirl and cop DLC. The rest of her outfits are not really ones I enjoy, especially that schoolgirl swimsuit and that cat get up...

16 to 15 passes seems like something they would do. Maybe when its all over, they'll release every pass exclusive costume in a special pack.

I've been watching the wikia. Dind't know this game already have over 1000 costumes... I'm not saying is a bad thing, but... Who needs such amount of costumes? It seems that TN is releasing more and more costumes only because is easy money.
