DOA5U wanted Costumes

SO. The awesome jacket on the otherwise shitty bikini Mila got inspired me to actually go back and sketch out that blue and white jacket outfit I wanted for her. I say "sketch out", I screenshotted and scribbled over the screenshot because fuck my ability to draw proportions.

The right is my original sketch. The left is the trace of the screenshot. I changed the bags from tight to baggy, and attempted to have the palms of the gloves be dark blue. The necklace is supposed to be a chrome version of her bee logo.

anyways, now I'm torn. Hooded jacket or non hooded jacket? (The jacket itself must be able to be toggled on and off, like the actual bikini's hooded jacket)

And I'm just now noticing that with the necklace and baggy pants and hood up, she went from "Sporty" to "ghetto as all hell". Not sure I like the hood and baggy pants anymore...

That looks really nice on Mila. I like it without the jacket but knowing myself I'd probably always switch between jacket and no jacket.

Well sure. Winter Olympic sports gear isn't exactly skimpy.
I would like skimpy outfits with a topical, or otherwise interesting twist, so a "Winter bikini" would be ideal.
"Regular" bikinis might be getting a bit stale for some players, so if TN can maintain the sex appeal whilst offering something new, it may sell really well.

Anyway, a Winter Olympic theme leaves slim pickings for the guys though. Maybe Bayman or Leon as a cross country skier (with the rifle)? lol

Pasties, boots, mask, a thong and some jewellery? Yes, its gotta be for Lisa.
Skimpy non-swimwear, is cool with me too. As long as the girl looks good, Im happy.

However, I don't think there is a stage that is perfect to showcase V-day themed costumes but I have a hunch they would feature it in Zack Island. (Forest could work though or Lorelei if we'll get the normal version)

The "snow bikini" is exciting, interesting and would likely sell well. Comparatively, Winter Olympics inspired outfits for the guys arent anywhere near as interesting (IMO), hence me using the term "slim pickings". Seems reasonable to me.

I changed the pants from tight to baggy because I wanted to differentiate it from Hitomi's outfit more, plus we already know Mila looks damn good in baggy jeans, but which you would prefer?

And should the jacket be hooded or non hooded?

I'm trying to make this something people would actually buy, because I want to sent it to TN's twitter so trying to "refine" it first before submitting it. If enough people like it, hell, it may make it into DOA6 or future DLC. Past oufits were fanart, so there's a chance.


But no, Hoya, I'm not just gonna take her pants off and put her in a thong, nor take her top off and just put pasties on her.

If only because we already have that. It was her last Bikini DLC.

Also, Random note, I wouldn't mind this for Helena, or failing that, Rachel.

Hoya should be pleased that the outfit shows ass, as well. I just really like the way the hair is done, plus the bandaged eyes, the bracers, the way the front is presented....all of it, its actually revealing while still tasteful, in a classical greek kinda way.

The only prob - it looks too similar to Tinas latest outfit. Maybe TN could just make a black version and give it to Christie instead?

Well, I like it how you have it now. Personally, I would use both jacket off and on but never the hood up. If we're gonna be realistic, if Mila is training at a gym she wouldn't necessarily be having her hood up (unless she's running outside). I think it would be nice if instead of having those gloves like she's hitting a bag, she could just wear the bandages that go under the gloves (for shadowboxing) and for aesthetic purposes they could go a little more than where they would normally end past the wrist. One arm could have blue bandages and the other white. You don't have to do it, but just a suggestion.

I think your art is good, on a technical level. We just have different ideas on design.

I want these shoes to be incorporated for Leon's Casual DLC. I just love the yellow gemstones. It just adds a little bit of flair and really looks nice on the camouflage printed loafers.

I'm still holding on for a fresh batch of Fighter Packs someday (or at least just for Leon, Ein, Jacky and Bass as Mr. Strong) but I want to uplift the looks up a bit and go beyond generic trunks.

Ein - 2U C4 jeweled belt and pants (turned into shorts)

Leon - Green camouflage trunks + gray belt

Mr. Strong - Captain America-themed trunks + mask

Jacky - Red trunks with lattice sides

I don't think i've seen mafia costumes for any of the females or males. Correct me if i am wrong though. Anyway just a random thought lol.
