Hmm? You said it does more harm than good. I'm not sure which side you're referring to though. Being next to the wall, or being the one in-front of the person next to the wall. >_>;;
i think we need to improve our wall game most of all. i find it rather ridiculous putting your opponent against a wall seems to do more harm than good.

Russian has a good point though! What is the point of a shit-ton of SPACE? Why are there huge areas where you can move about freely or combo-fuck from one side of the other? DOAN, myself and a few others play a character who can get off a wall, but does it mean much? No, too many opt to keep her there. This can be said for any character, but who are known for serious wall carnage (the raw brute - not flashy)

Hayate, Bayman, Bass, Leon, Rachael, Eliot, Akira/Kokoro, Hitomi, Leifang (good grief!) - Notice, a trend: All rushdown!

But speaking of Alpha, why does everyone act as if she's the only character who needs space - or worse - when she has it, it's a guaranteed win? Or when she pressured, it guaranteed she'll lose? How can I (for instance) come back 3-0 after being down 0-2 while pressured all day long?

Most play like there's only or should be only two inches between you and your opponent, but I always hear, "I hate the Home stage!" Heh, don't dare pick Dojo, but that's not safe either for the same reason. I don't mind the wall game either, but all that space isn't there for nothing either.

without changing things too dramatically i was thinking guaranteed force techs from wall slumps would provide incentive to keep them there. that way instead of just loosing juggle damage cause it interrupted your attack, you would get advantage and be able to keep the offense up.

i believe you misread my post
That's a terrible idea and defeats the entire purpose if wall slumps.

You shouldn't be rewarded for messing up

Then again I despise the very concept of force techs and denounce them as chickenshit.

DOA is the only game where it would be considered messing up. every other fighter rewards proper position. and before you start ranting about realize again hell REAL LIFE rewards proper positioning, the term "back against the wall" is not a good thing. getting pinned against a wall in a fight will get you fucked up.

Are you saying all of these characters are rushdown?

No, I'm saying there's very heavy favoritism to rushdown with these characters or just the whole roster (and yes, I know Alpha can rush, too).

People only think Alpha should straight up rush since she can't counter - she has many more options when it comes to countering (as do the other character with counters), but what do we see? l! I played a Helena twice and a Kasumi (same player). Desert Wasteland all three games. Of course, he does the easy thing and rushes, but I countered that and got him thinking - he was scared to come near me - no he was scared, there was no respect at all - I can tell the difference! And I didn't even rush - well, I did, but it was rather weak! I see this way too much! I told someone a long time ago that you get more respect from me if you attempt to stop what I am doing rather than keep it from starting! I love playing those types of players because there's an actual game being played!

However, the ones that know and appreciate me being patient and playing slow, have started to do this themselves regardless of the character they pick! I'm saying all-out rushdown is not everything. If Alpha's shit can be stopped, so can the other characters! This is why I harp on Phase 4 and how she's played so much because it's the same way. It's as if she thinks she'll have no resistence whatsoever. We all know that is garbage! This is why I say to play smart, not just hard! Each character has something against them for a reason!

Before you bread this, let me say I'm rrsppy sick and pissy and trying to be straightforward not intentionally rude, so apologies ahead of time.
In real life the opponent can catch your punches against the wall and if you try to kick (force tech) someone on the ground you are likely to get your foot/leg grabbed lol.

In real life there isn't "guaranteed damage" lol.

There's a reason real life fights quickly devolve into mila style tussles on the ground lol.

And for the record I'm fine with wall splats. But since they slide down that's it, combo is over, you shouldn't be rewarded for messing up. Same reason I hate force techs. The entire idea that you can force them up by just continuing q combo or kicking them while they are down is asinine.

I wouldn't give so much flak if you had asked for them to change it it so that opponents can't fall down or be knocked down so you can just continue combos foerver, which sounds more like what you want. But still having it and asking for it to be nullified is just silly.

Long winded but true lol. Its I laugh when most try to "show me how to play mila right" and they just try to rush down and I (usually) let them run right into mount beat downs over and over. and they try to donit back at me just trying to spam grabs but they fail because they don't understand what I'm actually doing lol.

Yes, in this firstpicture taken from the trailer you can see as the hairstyles showned is the same of the one from your post (in the second one very likely the ponytail is penetrating in the ground tied to the clipping of the game, for this reason it appear more little IMO).

I wonder if anyone will lose on purpose to get a look at the new tit physics like the people in Japan kept doing.

It's the same build on TGS most likely, so thats propably a no. New gameplay videos of the same build though.

I mean in the way that the japanese players seemed to go out of their way to not pick any new hair or outfits. Hopefully the Londoners will.

However this doesn't mean that we will see necessarily new characters or stages, but maybe could be anyway something interesting.
