DOA5LR List of New Content!

So the life bars are now going to be green in Last Round? I swear they changed the color of the life bars in DOA5 so many times. As far as new characters are concerned, like I stated before, I'd rather Team Ninja make them totally brand new. Like I said before, Marie Rose is the only totally new character, because she has a totally new fighting style. Phase 4 is just an altered version of Kasumi and Alpha-152 while Nyotengu is for fans of the original Tengu, so she's only half-new. There are a lot of fighting styles that Team Ninja could explore, so I'd rather have some new styles to explore, not styles of past characters. That's just me, personally.

- Having her, representing a different organization from M.I.S.T. would create more depth to the games story in a sense that it would justify the return of resurrected characters (Raidou, Genra.. Gen Fu who's most likely gonna die).

Not any time soon if Jinrei Wang from Tekken is any indication. Gen Fu still has like 40 years left. lol

I mean, she looks kind of cool. But, I don't think DOA needs a "manipulative mega foul mouthed necrophiliac bitch with an attitude" at all. And then no one seemed to like Yaiba the game that much so I doubt they'd be super enthused to bring someone from that game over given that it might not be received all that well.

Here I'm terrible at explaining characters. Found this on YT. You guys can evaluate the character yourself (unfortunately I can't find one w/ Genra). The red aura he gives off is pretty cool I must say:

It's a blue to green bar if I recall correctly

I like the new lifebars when they're full but they start to look bad when they go down and they're only an ugly shade of green. I'm not a fan of green though

I'm not a fan of multi colored life bars, much prefer solid or gradient life bars. I liked the blue in DOA5, didn't mind the change to yellow in DOA5U, and now blue to green? meh

Wasn't red = damage taken; health regen when switch or forced out? The multi-color thing is just another, if not better indicator. (Other games do this, too. Does anyone know if PB/PL indication is a flash bar like before?)

I still prefer the cooler colors like silver/blue/green, over warm we colors like red/yellow/brown, is all I'm saying. This extends to health bars, stage palettes, menus, and costumes.

And I imagine the flash stayed. Its effectively doas meter system.

Yeah, the change from blue to yellow was jarring; yet, they had yellow painted discs (data side down) and a yellow background on the initial ultimate cover (wait, the disc is still yellow - oops). Wonder why the disagreeing schemes though. (Vanilla's Box/Disc scheme was congruent)

I'm not so much concerned about the female as I am the male at this point. Truth is, I've been playing dimensions a lot more and I never realized just how underrated Genra actually is (now I understand @SilverForte's hype). His combo potential, his stance and projectiles, and who doesn't like headbutting people with horns? I keep trying to get into Raidou b/c he looks so much more bad@ss but I can't. I feel like I'm playing a slow Hayate or Ryu and I don't use either of those characters to begin with...

I really like Raidou but I appreciated what TN did with Genra in DoA and I would like surely a return of the DoA3 boss with some fixes and balancements in the moveset.

She was such a nice girl in the first DOA Xtreme though... Not only her skin tone changed (as many here are often complaining), but also her personality. I have the feeling, Team Ninja didn't really know what to do with Lisa. And now they killed her off...or not. Still so indecisive...

Y'all need to calm down Miss Monday would be a great addition to the series i mean think of the opportunity not much was said in yaiba she can work for Donovan or she can be working for Helena. Dear Team Ninja,

For Last Round, and/or Dead or Alive 6, please abandon the gross looking red and black vertical menus if Doa5, and instead bring back the sleek and beautiful blue and silver classic horizontal Dead Or Alive Menus?

PS. Also please go back to doing amazingly memorable Aerosmith demo reels instead of trying to be hip with the hop. Dead or Alives 234 are all great memories due to those opening and now I associate those songs with Dead or Alive, whereas with dead or alive 5, I just turned all the music off because it was terrible.
