I'll likely try her out. I have a bigger motivation to use her than Naotora and Raidou.

OMG. I'm so so HAPPY right now. She looks absolutely gorgeous, she has a lot of stuuf from her old movesets and her FF2 theme makes my tears of joy fall.

The theme song is a faster up-to-date version of her main theme from the Fatal Fury series.

I am excited as hell. This is what I have gotten from the video:
0:08 = That move is based on Mai's far st.C (far standing hard punch). Mid punch and causes a stun on NH. So her "st.C" is her 8P attack.
She uses a punch in the mix and then performs her Shinobi Bachi (Her hcf+K) to finish the combo. PPPK... A special move within a string.
There is a wall splat on Shinobi Bachi.
0:13 = SS... P+K? I never seen that before. It looks like she using the "tail" of her clothing to attack the opponent like she does with her stand CD attacks (as of KOFXIII and KOFXIV). Whatever that move is causes a stun on NH. Seems to work sort of like Nyotengu's SSK but considering Mai's reputation, her's is probably a little faster. The last hit on PPK is her "close standing D" (her close standing hard kick). Ryuenbuu (which looks like the C version of it) is her 3PP... interesting. AH, of course she would have an air throw! As diabolical as it is, she can rack up some good damage from environmental floor hazards this way!
0:21 = Mai will start the combo off with her st.D (standing hard kick)... she didn't always have that move animation however as it shows up inconsistently throughout most cross-overs and KOF games (it was definitely present in KOFXIII and in CVS2).
Oh wow... Kagero no Mai is a quarter circle input I see... That string at the very end is based on Mai's df+B from KOF98. I loved using that move against Omega Rugal to slip underneath that fire ball of his (Gravity Smash).
0:24 = 2P+K is based on Mai's crouching C (crouching hard punch).
And, it looks like another one of my theories were right: Her DP+K from 98 is used as a Power Launcher. Beautiful. Just beautiful.
Then she jumps after the opponent to deliver a strike and the perform her air Musasabi... Jumping is 9P...
0:36 = After that fan attack, she uses her f+B from KOF98, which in that game is an overhead that can be utilized as a combo starter. In this game, it causes a sit-down stun.

Power Blow!!
She basically uses... TWO of her DM's in her Power Blow. First after striking the opponent with the initial input, she will perform her qcf+P where she will toss three fans at you (in her own games, the fans will burn if you use a strong version or if you are in Max mode). Then she performs her Chou Shinobi Bachi which is her qcbhcf+K input which can also be used in midair.

As far as I am concerned...
Mai and Nyotengu are going to be buxom buddies!

That SS move is from Real Bout, called "Shiranui Illusion" if I remember well. Basicaly she dodges you and hits you with her ass (Real Bout had 3 differents planes). It was an air move, quite weird. Andy had the same but with his elbow, so they did same for Mai but with her ass... I've never been a fan of this move, is more like Yuri's, but it's surprising to see it here, and working as Side Step move is just clever.

Now I can't wait to see all the rest, like her holds, throws, cliffhangers, etc. SNK and TN did a GREAT JOB this time.

Btw, looks like she doesn't have any alternate costume by default. Oh well, I guess her default costume will have some color version (purple for sure and luckily her white and gold or black and gold).

I'm so happy, I can't wait to use her! I feel truly lucky since she can be played as a zoner which is my preferred style of play. Now I just need to see her frame data and Operation Casino Bunny Mai is a go. ☆_☆

I have a feeling she's getting left out for the Halloween DLC unless they give her that raccoon recolor another costume from Maximum Impact 2.

We don't know yet what her default alternates are. These are the fetish catchup ones you have to pay extra for.
But we usually have a look to alternate costumes in a character's trailer, don't we? i think with Naotara was like this

I think she'll have recolors, TN just didn't show them so that wouldn't turn people off who wanted something better. Naotora they could do that because she had her towel, Pop idol and kitty outfit from her native game, KOF I don't believe really has alternates besides recolors.

Her move set is also pretty small too, so although that's a bit of a disadvantage, she'll definitely be very easy to learn. I'm curious to her tracking ability tho.
