Characters Marie Rose, Phase 4 and 1.05

After all of the intense matches from SCR this weekend, it's only fitting that we are followed up with huge news pertaining to our game and community. Marie Rose is coming to consoles 3/25 on Playstation 3 and the 26th on Xbox 360. A 1.05 update is also planned, but little details are available for that.

Marie Rose Announcement for PS3 & 360

Update 3/04: Marie Rose will be paid DLC. Her retail price is 5.99 USD. It should also be mentioned that the title update will be coupled with Lorelei.

Kasumi Alpha "Phase 4" is also planned to be released and she is only currently planned for arcades.

@Awesmic I would prefer if she was a hybrind between older kasumi, hayate and ayane with izunas, because Izunas make everything better.

I'm going to assume if you have the actual game Marie is free, but if you have the downloadable version she'll cost money.

While it's extremely unlikely, it would be awesome if she functions like Edge Master and transforms into different characters each round. That would make my day.

I believe he was referring to it being a player-capable move.

 

Here's a novel concept. Why don't you wait to see what the moves, combos and fighting style is of Phase-4 before passing judgment and complaining that you want Tengu back? Novel concept, I know, but it's one that might actually work.

 

TN's first take on legit projectiles in the game?

Well, it doesn't have to be projectiles involved. It is just from that power spike from the hand and the hovering. Basically it can be standard fighting, but with occasional massive strength ("spikes/guard breaks/push backs") seemingly out of nowhere (like mini EMP pulses). I could be shown like a poke with the finger (on the forehead) and that sends you flying. It has a lot of potential and could in theory be a very interesting brawler.

If rumors about her being something in between alpha and Kasumi is true, it would fit fast, but powerful, (but probably weak at holding or something for game balance).

 

They didnt say ANYTHING about game balancing. 1.05 could and probably will be so your game could see marie rose even if you dont pay for her.
