Just be respectful of Team Ninja when it comes to modding. And honestly, what is appealing about seeing the DOA girls nude? They're virtual and not even real. Sure, some costumes do show more skin than others, but it's all about leaving something for the imagination. Also, for the love of God, please keep cosplaying mods to a minimum.

That argument never made sense. Its still a picture of a pretty girl. Doesn't matter if you can't do her in real life, its about imagining doing her

Anyways, as much as I'd like to say "yeah, lets not see any nudes or cosplays", I understand its a lost cause, its just something that comes with the territory.

That still doesn't make sense. I don't even look at the DOA girls like that. I just see them as pretty women who happen to kick ass while wearing some skimpy outfits and Red Bottoms in the process. *sighs* I guess I'm too old school to understand.

Ideally, there won't be many nude mods. However, the reality is there might be quite a few. But that doesn't mean we can't do damage control. I imagine when the mods come out certain youtubers will make videos (ranging from normal matches and tutorials on how to apply the mod to ryona etc. etc.)
So if people see the youtube clogging with that kind of crap I would recommend flagging the video Maybe even cite it for copyright - youtube, doesn't care. If enough people do that I think they'll at least back off so that we don't have to see nude mods in public space. Especially when typing DOA5LR in youtube search.

I don't want to have to type in "DOA5LR -nude AND -mod."

If a bunch of people patrol youtube with me we won't have to do that.

TN is funny though... They said multiple times, that they don't like, when their 3D models are taken from the game and are tampered with. But then they share graphics made with these models quite often on Twitter or Facebook. Like for example right now on Deadoralivegame's Facebook page. XD

Great decision FSD.

Hopefully this steam version will be a good thing for both the community and the studio.
I still don'g get, though, on which version the PC game will be based on.

Basically, if you do nude mods on the PC version of Last Round, you are:
1. Both f**ked and stupid
2. The one main reason why DOA6 won't be on Steam for anyone.
People can choose not to do nude mods and STILL be accused of both of those things.

Well guys. I can't fucking wait to play as a character from another game that looks shitty, is completely irrelevant to DOA in any way and has a moveset copied from a DOA character. WITH A NUDE MOD

I will probably buy all official costumes anyway, but maybe if a good clothes mod is created and is allowed I would download and apply it. I see zero harm in that. Modding actually helps sell the game too.
What shouldn't happen of course is carbon copies of clothes made by TeamNinja for free. But I doubt it will.

I think the's also worried about mods that may give people unfair advantages and break the game. And most importantly, and this is something that's not clear here, but alot of devs fear PC game release due to piracy. It's no secret that steam anti-piracy measures have been broken.

People on /v/ are crying so hard over this. It's honestly a beautiful sight.
I don't have any sympathy for Hiyashi if those nude mods are made. The moment he allowed the distribution of bikini/fetish DLCs and Marie Rose/Honoka should've turned off publishers in the first place. Some ugly double standard he's holding there.
While I'd love nothing more than to see all the bikinis and fetish DLC blow up in Hayashi's face, I'd also like to keep playing DoA on my PC. I'm alright with community made costumes if they're good, same as the official ones. Maybe they'd make TN step up to the plate and make some real costumes instead of the garbage they've been putting out.

I'm not sure about the revenue they're going to see from the PC version of DOA5LR. Most PC gamers are just going to steal it anyway.

I keep seeing all these people talking about nude mods and stuff and it makes me laugh. If you are that hard up to see some boobs in DOA, just go online and look at some porn, GEEZ
