He probably means Metal Gear 1 and 2, there's no point of remaking MGS1 and 2. I do wish, however, that The Twin Snakes got ported >.>
Anywho.
I always tell people that even though I really liked Ground Zeroes, that it wasn't worth the $20-$40 price tag (depending on where you bought it and for what gen). Sure, it gives you a "taste" of the game, but I don't really feel as if I should have to pay the price of some retail games for a glorified demo. They did prepare us, however, for showcasing the brand new, albeit retarded, mechanics, with reflex mode being a crutch and only having 3 weapons preventing me from being the badass powerhouse (although it's understandable).
Knowing Kojima, there will probably be one more Big Boss era Metal Gear after The Phantom Pain to fill the tiny hole between TPP and Metal Gear. It is quite the mystery, however, as to how Big Boss was the main character in as many games as Solid Snake was. (BB: MGS3, MGSPO, MGSPW, MGSV[GZ+TPP]; SS: MG, MG2, MGS1, MGS4 [Snake was a side character in MGS2]).
Ground Zeroes was undeniably just a rather short demo, and I regret paying full price. That said....ehm....it didn't feel like a Metal Gear game. AT ALL. It felt more like Splinter Cell.
So that does worry me a bit about PP, but I'm assuming that's just because it was an empty demo.
But like I said, I wish they'd go back to urban environments. Metal Gear excels at those. It feels like with the "open outdoors areas" games (MGS3, 4, GZ) that I'm forced to simply crawl everywhere or go rambo, because there's nothing to really hide behind due to map layout.
