Nightwolf is capable of some extremely stupid things so he may come back on his own for all we know. This is a guy who managed to shield all of his own people from the events of MK3 that killed most of humanity. He also used a spell that completely disintegrated Sindel, who moments before murdered nearly all of Earthrealms best warriors without breaking a sweat. He may be the most powerful character in the game besides the oddly incompetent Raiden.

Except the good guys are still around as zombies under Quran chis control. Plus all the bad guys from 9 except shang tsung and sindel are still around.
Now that I think about it, isn't mileena supposed to be in charge now that shao khan is gone?

Yes, this is right. He also stated that this Sub-Zero is a new one & has changed each time throughout the games.

It supposed to be someone close to NRS apparently. TYM & SRK both posted it. So it still may have chance. lol Also, whoever is saying that "Tanya, Ermac, & Shinnok have been confirmed", I haven't seen any confirmation of either character.

Tanya has only been in 3 MK's over the franchise's span. So it would be nice to see her back. Ermac has been in 4 & his popularity has skyrocketed. I don't remember if he was killed in MK9 or not. I don't think he was though. Shinnok has only been in 2 so it would also be nice to see him back. He could be the main boss fighter in this one.

EDIT: If Ermac gets in, then that would be 3 ninjas confirmed in the game which means that Ed Boon was trolling us just to have us speculating & talking about it.

Well, Ermac's really not that much of a ninja anymore, in gameplay or aesthetics.

He's more like a sorcerer that was once a palette-swapped ninja.

It's actually weird how they changed them up now that you mention it. They really tried to add more background to all of them in order to make them look & seem different. If you've played all through the MK's then you know where exactly where I'm coming from with this. Ermac though is definitely listed as a ninja. I thought his design on both costumes were nice (very good in that game too from a competitive standpoint). Otherwise, in MK9, I don't think they would have given him a classic ninja costume like they did the others. I classify Kitana & Jade as ninjas too for one of the same reasons. They didn't give Rain one surprisingly. Tanya & Reiko are also listed among the MK ninjas. Really if you think about it, MK has more ninjas than any other fighting game franchises around to my knowledge.

EDIT: Yeah, Rain is also a ninja. The cyborgs are also ninjas. Here's a list from the MK wiki from TYM:

1) Ermac was given a klassic skin as a joke to his origin as the Error Macro in mk1.
2). All originated as ninjas, but reptile ermac and sub zero are not ninjas. Other luin kuei are debatable, as Lin kuei are specifically not ninjas.


Aka, in game canon, not ninjas except Scorpion. In real life, categorized as ninjas.

Also, besides Nitara, I have a newfound love for Khameleons Armageddon design, and she was in 9 in scene, so I wish they'd bring her back.

Yeah canon wise the only actual real ninja in MK is Scorpion. Though we still all refer to the others as ninjas anyways. Even Ed Boon does, but Ermac really doesn't have the ninja type look anymore.

For Ermac I really wish they would bring back a more classic look for him though I did like how he was in MK9.

Sub-Zero is a ninja. Lin Kuei are a ninja clan. The others I can agree with. I see why you think otherwise though.
