Dark Raiden was bad ass, but he didn't die in MK9 so there was no need for him to come back. He existed because he died in Deception and was resurrected by the elder Gods. I'm more excited for the returns of the MK4 characters. Fuujin, Tanya (hopefully, netherrealm got a ton of requests for her), Shinnok, and hopefully Reiko.
