Huge Alien fan but, I wish they just had Baraka since he is my favorite character. Also agree with others that cross over characters is getting a little out hand. oh well at least we get Bo Rai Cho.

So I would assume Boon has decided (or still hold) for Spawn to be in Injustice II. Not surprised at all really. But Leather Face? Boon, you could dig deeper than that. Cool to see Alien and Bo Rai Cho though.

-Inside joke-. Expect a lot of Alien vs Predator matches on Youtube.

here's the trailer
btw that's a cyborg who has the power of sector and cyrax
So I'm assuming Sektor took over like in the original timeline, just in a different fashion (assimilating Cyrax instead of making an army of himself)

The xenomorph baraka is retarded. Have baraka and then have the xeno. Not both, that's stupid.

Haven't been as disappointed about a Mortal Kombat announcement since they announced MK V DCU.
Why doesn't NRS just make a movie monster fighting game and stop with these pointless guest characters.

I wish TNdid that when they made DOA5 the virtua fighters are pointless no offense to the VF players

It's not pointless since generally speaking it's "new" characters regardless of where they are from in gaming. The issue with individual players is that they choose not to accept that. Also there is a huge difference between crossover meanings and guest characters.

- "Crossovers" in a general sense is mashing up one or more series into a standalone new game. That is "not" what DOA or MK is doing in particular. << Neutral with crossovers, it's alright but not a big fan of it. (Crossovers is something like Capcom vs SNK 2 , Project X Zone, Marvel vs Capcom 3 or the terrible MK vs DC. These are crossovers.)

- "Guest" characters is adding characters from another series into the original games on where it's added to fit the format on how the game is already is. Which is why VF characters fit perfectly in DOA because they were rescratched into the game concept with added DOA5 body models, the only difference with the VF characters is the terrible voice adding & rights holding. Characters like Freddy, Jason, Predator and now Alien were never exactly added into a fighting game before, so technically speaking (Whether you choose to believe it or not) they are brand new characters. "Guest" characters are fine and dandy because it's new, as long as they keep true to the word on how they originally play but fit the game. Bad guest characters for example, is characters like Yoda in SCIV. A pick that was expecting more fans to be drawn in but unaware that causes more harm than good due to size. In other words, they picked the wrong one. Actually to be fair, even original characters can be added into the game wrong just like a guest character which either is not common, it's all dependent on the devs with how much time they put into them.

People can complain about it all they want, guest characters will be in future games for the lifetime due to the hype and business standpoint, so if it makes them money and develop more company relationships then keep doing it. Now don't get me wrong, Alien/Xenamorph is actually pointless along with Leatherface that was unexpected but not the character people wanted, this I can truly understand from people..but the issue here is Ed Boon and the NRS choosing with who they want to leave out, which can be disappointing.

I don't hate the Xenomorph. Hell, I don't even care that she replaces Baraka. Here's hoping her variations are somewhat creative.
The Triborg (stolen from YouTube commentors) is a nice way to appeal to Cyborg players. Looking forward to this.
Bo Rai Cho is... well... um... I don't hate this pick. On the fence with him.
Leather Face... hell no. I'd take any of the other missing 3 over him. Or Smoke/Enenra.

So far, I'd rate it about 6/10. Maybe it'll get better when we get more details.

Haha how predictable I knew you were gonna respond and thank you for making it clear because i really didn't knew the difference between crossovers and guest characters (I'm not sarcastic) and I like guest characters (some) but what's the point of guests when they're only temporary? And why those virtua fighters :/. Goh, Eileen, that Mexican wrestling guy and that shaolin guy would be better because it would've had different fighting styles. Jacky and Akira fight different but still have the same fight style as Jann lee and Kokoro and pai is just a offense version of leifang and sarah idk what to say about her but she's "meh"

Id actually be okay if they just added all the vf roster to doa. Just have doa absorb VF entirely, yaknow? Don't worry about a vf6, just have doa6 go full king of fighters and assimilate the similar fighter into its ranks.

The only character I'm disapointed in with the KP2 is Leatherface. Of all the MK roster that could have been added they were replaced by a murder icon. And on top of that with the included Xenomorph there are technically two guest characters in this pack. Yeah the Xenomorph is a Tarakan hybrid but is still technically a guest. Just having the Xenomorph alone as the guest would be enough (as much as a sucker punch as it is to Baraka fans).

I like the Tri-Borg concept. You get three cyborgs in one character and it looks like its variations are Cyrax, Sektor and either Smoke, Noob, or Hydro. My guess would be Noob.

Bo. Rai. Cho. Yes.
