Still waiting for that Ein reveal trailer..
..with his traditional theme Vigaku playing in the background for maximum effect.
Enjoyed the hell of that amnesiac karate character back in DoA2 and him appearing back in DoA3 and DoA 4 despite not relevant to the current plot was always a treat so I was sad when he was omitted in DoA 5. I still play as Hitomi/Rig/Hayabusa, but Ein would be my #1 main yet again if he is playable in DoA 5 Ultimate.

I'm back....suckas lol. I knew Leon would eventually be in the game, whether it's coincidence or whatever, pretty obvious. When they said no DLC characters and characters announced after release, that was key for everyone to know that an UPDATE is coming and here we are. It's also obvious that Tengu is going to be in as well. I'm really hoping for ANOTHER completely new character also (Momiji is a completely NEW female character for DOA5Uso new female characters are covered), how about a Polynesian male fighter, another big fighter to balance out big Bass he could be Sumo with some other fancy moves. It just seems a bit unstable roster wise for Bass to be the only big man, yeah you have Bayman and Leon, but still not so stable, well Tengu could balance that out or even Genra, but new would be better. I hope we get 6 to 8 new characters.
Just because they gave Mila Leon's tackle doesn't mean he's been replaced.

To me its just more of the same eject mila and keep leon just dont think its necesary to have two chars both tackling
Mila has a boring snail tackle. Leon charges people like a hound out hell and smashes their face into oatmeal with his manly biceps. So no, not the same thing at all.
In general everything Leon does just looks and feels better than Mila. He's a power-house instead of an awkward poker.
We just got a brand new Taekwondo fighter in DOA5 with Rig and you already want another one? But Leon seems like just another Mila to you?

Anyway guys, I'd like to share a little story my moms used to tell me 10 years ago. A new girl walks into a traditional sushi restaurant. It's quite different from the sushi bar with rollerskating girls. She has an interest in two hobbies in the hopes of one day settling down with the right guy with similar interests. Enter two guys in the restaurant. One of them try to get a seat with the girl in order to flirt with her. Now this girl realizes the guy with similar interests is a narcissistic womanizer and is disgusted by having the same interests. In disgust, she realizes one of her hobbies is attracting the wrong people, and decides to pursue one hobby entirely. Her name... was Vanessa Lewis.
So what's the moral of my mom's story? Simple. Nobody ain't gotta go home, but some movesets gotta get the hell out of one character. Or at least alter them significantly.
EDIT: It's too early to say that Mila is a "bad" character. There's plenty of room for potential growth and so many ways to add to her personality, or even importance to the story. As much as Mila idolizes Bass, I wouldn't be surprised if one day Bass looks to Mila as the daughter he never had or wish he had, especially after Tina has so often pursued interests that directly conflicted with his own (the latest being politics). If MIST were to somehow defile the new DOATEC through dirty politics, that would not only further complicate tension between Tina, Mila, Lisa, Bass, and (possibly) Rig, but it would also get them closer involved with the main plot itself, as opposed to being the usual sideshow.

After Leon, I would like a totally original character (not going to happen in DOA5U though, maybe in DOA6) :
Ji Yeon, a beautiful and mature Korean woman using a mix of Ballet and Gymnastic Fighting and KCIA training.
(She would be as mysterious as Zafina, as elegant as Lili, as crazy as Tira, and as Korean as Juri
).
"Ji Yeon was born in Korea but grew up in China, in the same orphanage Jann Lee grew up in. There, she became his "old" sister. She would always protect him against adults, thugs and violence. At the age of 12, she was adopted by a wealthy Korean family and went back to her country. She never saw Jann Lee ever again.
Back in Korea, she became a special agent, working for the KCIA. Her mission is now to infiltrate the 6th tournament. She has to investigate on Donovan and his son, Rig.
There, she will meet Bayman who explains her that Donovan is his personal affair, and that she shouldn't get involved in the whole mess, because MIST is very dangerous. She would also find her old "brother", Jann Lee, after more than 10 years... Lei Fang would get jelly and a new "rivalry" would happen.
I think Ji Yeon would be a smart way to break the Jann Lee/Lei Fang duo, and to give Bayman's story more content, somehow.
Her physical singularity would be her colored strand of hair. She would have special agent, K-pop soldier (Gee Gee Gee!), and ballet costumes.

On an unrelated note, here's my dream lineup for DOA5U... 32 characters. It'll never happen but goddamn if it did goodbye society

PS: Who is the Kasumi under Alpha152: Kasumi Alpha or the Phase 4 clone in the end of DoA5 story?

Leon definitely needs to come back cause he's badass, then Genra cause he looks really unique and we need more wackos like ALPHA and Tengu and pretty much all those guys from dimensions, and for the sake of extras being main characters, make like victor donovan a fighter and miyako or something, why the hell not AND new characters, i know im dreaming big but hey....oh and ein

I like the shop of Ein that was posted earlier a helluva lot better than that emo looking one you guys keep tossing into the character select screen. We'll see how he ends up looking if he makes it in but I hope not like the latter.

Dream list is very possible considering it going to 32, however, Genra, woman under Akira maybe the most less likely on your list (which is of course a wish list) and Raidou.If Donovan turned out a character he'll take Genra's spot (that Mask Donovan wears), a new character would take Raidou's spot, and a possible guest Ryo may take the woman under Akira spot. I think 32 is very possible because Tengu, Ein, and Leon wouldn't be hard to do, and there's plenty of time until it launches in September or October.
