Sounds like the brand new female won't be Irene because she's brand new. For some reason I think the "resurrected" character could be Fame Douglas with some of Raidou moves/own moves.

For the male, I would like to see a brand new character. Personality wise I'd like to see a kinda cocky character with dark hair, but also that he is still a boss (think of a DOA character with a 'Shadow the Hedgehog' personality).

You might as well be talking about Eliot, except for the fact that he's slow and his damage is supbar, but his throws/holds do decent damage.

I want a character like nina/anna from tekken or aoi(well aoi with a speed boost)
very fast, very pokey, good mixup(very very little damage) really nasty chain throws and really painful holds
besides eliot is really awkward and stiff and i don't like his flow

I just watched a vid of Raidou's moves from DOAD. He looks kind of cool and they definitely upgraded him from his first appearance. But, if you really break it down...another ninja? We have 6 and a half ninjas already. And you can see some of Hayate's and Kasumi's moves in Raidou (which would make sense). Though she'd be another blonde character (and another "good guy"), I'd think that Irene would at least not be a ninja...
Unless TN really wants to screw with people. lol
I guess if you really think about it, spies are just modern day ninjas regardless. But, she'd probably at least (hopefully) bring another martial art to the game.
Nikki would also be acceptable and would bring some visual diversity. But, it'd be more of a stretch to think that she'd be able to fight. For some reason, if Marie Rose didn't exist, I would see her basically having Marie Rose's moveset.
A new character would be cool, but playing Blazblue for a number of years has turned me off of introducing side characters that have proven to, or likely have, relevance to the main plot and then never including them as playable...all the while introducing random new characters that seem to have little to do with anything in the long run.
So, I'd be down for Irene, maybe Nikki, or perhaps Miyako if we needed another "antagonist". What's the likelihood of TN putting a 40-year-old woman in the game? (Don't answer that.)

Actually Raidou is a mimic character similar to Dural, his moveset include moves from the all the roster (in DoA1 of course only of the other characters included in the game, however in DoAD this was expanded - as for example with moves of Hayate or even Genshinh from NG2 - and I suppose that the same would happen now in the eventuality of an appearence of him in 5LR).

Pretty much my feeling regarding the upcoming characters.
He's an asshole and I'm cool with that. DOA++ Raidou was way cooler than his DOAD incarnation though. Dude had glowing eye toggle as a taunt, Splash Mountain and Raging Storm.
