I hope it comes out soon, I don't want it to be near the next gen console release.
I'd bet on Q3 or Q4 2013. I'm leaning more towards Q3. It might be September again.
Its possibly gonna be DLC but if they turn it into an Ultimate version .. Awesome!
Seems like we're getting 2 characters(at least !).. and a new stage.. Shinbori in the final guide interview said that DOA5 already has "rain" mechanics and he always wanted to make a Rainy stage .. so ... im guessing there will be 2 stages .. the one we saw and another

Exciting, indeed. I wouldn't expect to see everyone return, but we'll hopefully at least get Tengu and Ein, in addition to Leon.
Me too. The fact that people still play DOA4 is upsetting. We really need these two versions to be compatible.

I wouldn't worry about segregation based on a factor like that. People typically want to play the newest and greatest.
What I WOULD worry about whether or not the netcode receives an update. Thats what is keeping you lonely.
I don't hear any of those characters, but at 0:12 you can hear the grunt from the last hit of Leon's 6PPP string from DOAD (from his new VA). All them gusts of wind are getting me hard too, though I doubt that it has anything to do with Tengu, since it seems like the fight was simply Leon vs Momiji.

Heres hoping to the old cast returning, 1 more new character, and 1 new guest character. Ryo Hazuki to be exact! but lets see if hayashi will push for that.
