Hey everyone, I'm new here. Been thinking about making an account on here for awhile after some friends told me about it on PSN. This seems like a really nice place.

I've mostly been a Tekken and Soul Calibur player until I got DOA5. I wasn't serious about playing past DOA games, but now I want to get into tourneys for this as well. My mains are Kokoro, Ein and Momiji (I like Ayane a lot too, but I'm not very good with her lol). So, it's nice to meet everyone and hope I have a good time here and improve at the game. :)

I know the DOA series since I was a kid and my favorite character has always been Ein.
I've been playing a bit of DOA4 but I wasn't that good because not a lot of people was playing it in France. I Tried DOA5 but Ein wasn't in it so I kept on playing TTT2 until DOA5U comes out. At this time I really enjoy the game but I have a lot to learn to be good at It.
I'm definitely interesed by learning from anyone and I'm up for some online sessions if it's not laggy. See ya !

Welcome! I'd say its best if you play with people in EU, no need for lag.

Hey guys. Im new to DOA in general but after seeing Rachel in the newest game i couldn't resist.

The only fighting game i got super geeked out was MK9.

I learned the BnB, the Meta game and the match ups but each time i mastered a character, it would become obvous that the chacrter wasn't that deep in the scope of its possiblities

The MK9 community was also doomed because it never got a desperately needed patch to fix many-many issues.

So all those things drew me to DOAU5
-Rachel
-(Hopfully)Very deep n complex game mechanics and meta game
-Active community with periodic patches to address issues

Hey,

I joined yesterday after been told about this place by someone on a stream, I've never played a DoA game before in my life lol; but after seeing it, it looked fun and a friend recommended it as a fun game. So I bought it (like 2 days ago haha).

I have and do play other fighting games but not to any kind of amazing level, at best I'm really average, I just find them fun, along with lots of other games and... well lots of things in general, there are so many things I can't see any reason to put a big list here.

I'm just hoping this place will give me somewhere I can ask... probably silly questions; without been laughed at as well as be a place that if I end up getting into the game will offer some fun chat :) (I'm all about the talking, you'd know if you've ever been in a stream chat with me :p)

Anyway I don't know what to expect from here or this game but so far everyone on here seems nice, thx to all who liked my first hello comment, was nice to feel welcomed :) Having no idea really about this game apart from what I've seen I think I will try Kasumi (we share hair colour near enough so that seems a good enough reason right now to try her) and Kokoro as she looked sooooo much fun on the streams.

Anyway I think I've put enough here and hello to everyone on here, I could tell you about myself but really does anyone want to know? If you do want to know anything just ask, I won't bite (hard haha). A bigger hello to anyone that might know who I am and I might be awful at this game but I'm friendly..

Thx for welcoming me :) I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions but right now I'm a little worried I don't know enough about the game to even know what I should be asking. I'll try and find the right place to ask stuff but until then can someone tell me what should I be doing to learn and understand the game?

Remember I'm completely new to the Dead or Alive games so I really do need my hand holding :( If no one helps me here I'll try and ask on the Kokoro pages as that is who I think I'm going to play and learn.

You can always give the game's in-game tutorial a shot, as it can actually teach you the basics of DOA5U's mechanic and DOA's triangle system.

It's for DOA4, but you can still use this as DOA basics within' that are still applied to DOA5U.

Thankyou so much, when ppl told me to try this forum I really didn't think anyone would help me as I know nothing about the game and in most places of the internets that get you trolled. So I'm well happy and thank you, I'll try to learn some of this stuff :)

Hello everyone! I'm Jyakotu and I'm a fighter! I first got my DOA experience for the original PlayStation and even continued onward with DOA2: Hardcore for the PS2. Sadly, I went hiatus on the series when it went Xbox exclusive, but thankfully, the game is back on PlayStation consoles and handhelds. Eliot is my main, but I also use Ayane, Tina, Jacky, and would love to pick up Brad Wong and Lisa in the future. I also use Alpha-152 offline for trolling purposes. Right now, I'm playing the Core Fighters version on the PS3, but will get the retail copy eventually. Anyway, been visiting FSD for awhile now and I figured it was time for me to join to improve my game.

ETA: My PSN is JyakotuKurayami. I'm C ranked right now, but if I someday hit B ranked, I'll consider entering a tournament eventually.

Hello I am new here and really new to the Dead or Alive series. I played DOAU2 - DOA4 on 360 but the heel is , that I played these games by my friends very very little ! I never employed with Dead Or Alive but I know a character called " Ryu Hayabusa " from Ninja Gaiden. I am rather a Ninja Gaiden Fan than a Dead or Alive Fan but this time I want to give this game a try because I heared that Akira from Virtua Fighter is playable in Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate is that true ? I love Akira he is my Main in Virtua Fighter ! I played as Fighting Games Tekken , Blaze Blue , Soul Calibur and Virtua Fighter. If Akira is in Dead or Alive I will main him with Ryu Hayabusa because I love Ninja Gaiden. I grow up with this game. I dont think taht here is a Ninja Gaiden Thread but I didnt search it yet. I just signed and wanted to introduce myself first. I played Ninja Gaiden Black , Ninja Gaiden 2 , Ninja Gaiden 3 but it was the worst Ninja Gaiden game in my opinion and Ninja Gaiden Razors Edge. Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden are my favourites. I Wish you everything good on your path :)
