I guess I'll introduce myself although I've been posting for a while. I've been a DOA fan since I was about 8 starting with DOA3. I played it at a family friend's house and since then I've been hooked to the series. I didn't really start playing DOA much until I got my 360 4 years ago along with DOA4. I played DOA4 casually since I wasn't really good at the game and I considered myself too young to join tournaments (online and offline). I played at the IPL event at HIN a few weeks ago and it was a great experience considering it was my first tournament and my first offline event (although I played against Vanessa of all people in my first round match >_<). Hopefully there will be more tournaments in my local area considering that I'm a high school student who can't make it to any of event held outside a 40 mile radius.

Why not? You were playing Vanessa. I would have put my hands behind my body, handcuffed them, put a blindfold on, and smoked a cigarette and it would have MAYBE been an equal match.

Serious answer? When I got 5th at MWC in 200...4 or 5. Then continued to place top 10 every tournement I went to after that?

Not really. This community and game are pretty garbage, now I just stick around to piss people off. Even watching DoA5, I'm really not impressed. Still looks like DoA4 to me, except now we have a whole batch of scrubs to piss off. I'll go win whatever tournament is in Tokyo next month, get told I'm still a piece of shit, and then continue to play Tekken.
Yeah well I'm pretty much the same way. I pretty much quit doa after four but figured I'll give five a go. But I don't plan on getting seriously into it again. I don't mind meeting up for local gaming, but that's where it ends.

A couple of my locals have asked me to run DoA5 when it comes out... I kind of just sighed and rolled my eyes, but I don't have a big enough scene that I can be choosy. The only game I refuse to run if SFxTK cus its the worst trash I've EVER played. So I'm sure that I'll still play it, and say I go to NEC or something when I get back to the states to play TTT2, I'll probably enter DOA as well. I'm trying to figure out who you are based on where you're at. Unless your location is a lie too... I'm thinking maybe CaliJared.
