I can say that in Doaw people are asking for new or old outfits, but not more swimsuits.
Personally I would be ok with TN's decision to give to Tina, Christie and Lisa a new different swimsuit (considering their recolors), but for the rest we have already enough of this kind of outfits in the game.

Hmm, Tecmo might actually be listening to some of the negative feedback... you can buy costumes individually in the new cheer pack at $1 each. Of course they're only for Vita and they'll be taken down after a few weeks. As already stated they'll be available for everyone in July

So as of right now, there is no clear fact when they will announce more Costumes? I don't really mind about the swimwear, just as long as I get my costumes (prefer original ones)

Just to be different (& perhaps part of a small minority) I'd love to see TN add in these guys as future characters (be it future DLC or in DoA6) just to see the response & general feedback. I would love it. 
Regent of The Mask in DOA would be all sorts of win imo. That opera-masked swashbuckler deserves his own game, let alone a spot in DoA's character slot. I would also love to see a stage dedicated to the man with that epic boss theme of his playing in the background.

I've been waiting for that costume since the beginning (but I do like the ugly brown thing lol)! But besides that one I just want Helena's DOA4 ending cape. ;_;

I'm not really sure how Fox Mizuki McCloud would work since I'm unsure she even knows how to fight. But Regent on the other hand........
