Fighting 5 genshins and knowing this is only the first wave doesn't necessarily relieve stress for me, in fact it does the opposite ha XDLol man, shouldn't you be playing games to relieve stress?
CyberEvil said:Playing through Ultimate Ninja now with no karma glitches or anything...wow. This is actually gonna be tough. Dying from a single missed input (seriously, the dead zone on the dodge is unreal and much more noticeable here) happens OFTEN. Just made it passed the Spider Tank and it actually killed me several times despite knowing exactly what I needed to do to down it quickly. The jump from MN is unreal and I'm not entirely sure it's a well-designed jump (hint: I'm being generous, here). That said, I'm going to finish it and things will get much easier as I get my upgraded weapons. But you need 300.000 for a level 2 upgrade and 800.000 for level 3. Gotta plan out my upgrades very carefully.
I don't know about better or anything but I definitely know the franchise inside and out and this game is no exception. Even still, this is proving slightly trickier than I thought it would. I'm currently on Day 3 and the most trouble I've had so far on a single section was in Ayane's stage of all things. That arena battle after you slide under the door? They removed the checkpoint in it before the Black Spider ninjas come down, so it's a ton of normal soldiers and Van Gelfs, followed by a ton of TAC ninjas. The worst part is that the grab spamming is toned down CONSIDERABLY from MN, so I'm finding it difficult to SoB consistently. Couple that with insanely high karma costs for everything and you have a recipe for one helluva challenge.Let me know how it goes, Cyber. From what I can infer, you're a better NG player than I am, so if you're having a lot of troubles in the first stage, I expect to have my hands full. Best of luck, though. I feel like saving the Health upgrades will be even more critical than ever in U.N. if you can even afford to get them all with the ridiculous karma requirements.
PS: I likely won't be touching UN until after graduation due to time issues. I also still need to do MN, as well.
At least in the demo it can happen on hard mode if you don't press Y after making Steel on Bone contact. But you really, really had to wait.Oh and a fun thing that started happening to me for the first time on UN: the beret enemies will end your SoB chains. They kind of block it a bit before dying but no matter your weapon level they won't let you kill anyone after them in the same chain unless you SoB them in a jumping state. Don't recall that ever happening on MN or lower.

Anybody free for some online missions?
They do it here no matter how much you mash the hell out of Strong Attack. It's really frustrating because, with the camera changes, it's nearly impossible to properly target a different target with the SoB. You have to catch them mid-lunge to avoid it.At least in the demo it can happen on hard mode if you don't press Y after making Steel on Bone contact. But you really, really had to wait.

Man, I'd love to play Trials with you, sometime! Now that the Story is out of the way, I'm good to go for Trials and Clan Battles. But don't think about dragging me in to do Ultimate Ninja stuff. I don't need the additional stress impeding me from clearing the other trials first <.<
