i think i tried those online missions once got teamed up with some hispanic guy i couldn't understand with shitty connection.i doubt im ever going to use the online features on a ninja gaiden game
I like the way you think, Forte
Also, now I finally know what I'll be getting this year. I guess I better sell my copy of NG3 to someone ASAP <.<
Its true though, 360 ET killed absolutely everything in the game, the xxy did crazy damage.
NG/B/S did, yes. After that they went to a really shitty system (in my opinion, of course) that sticks you in blockstun without a way to recover besides a dodge that isn't completely invincible and has an annoying amount of recovery. The easiest place to see what I'm talking about is any enemy with a machine gun, the little robots in particular, on Master Ninja. You get locked in place and when the game finally lets you move you take a couple hits at MN level damage scaling. Not fun.^ @3:30 kinda funny how NG has better sitdown "stuns" and guard breaks than DoA
It's hard for me to say because all the weapons in NG2 have their unique areas they excel in. That said, the lunar is definitely one of (if not the) most versatile weapon in the game, in terms of how many situations can be handled with ti effectively.Lunar is the best weapon in the game in NG2, not sure how well it preforms in NBG.
Sorry for the late response to this:

In NG:B it's much less powerful. Still useful in situations, but actually one of the weaker weapons, imo. True Dragon Sword is easily the most versatile weapon in that game.
The kusari-gama is awesome in that game.
Still, Ryu's movements and techniques most closely mirror his DOA techniques with the Dragon Sword, which is why it will always be the coolest Ninja Gaiden weapon for me, personally.
What's wrong with Sigma?![]()
Blame Itagki for his stupid half ass decisionDamn.. So it added more stuff but still ended up making it worse..? Wow..
Why would they removed the missions? Well thats TN for ya, always make rookie mistakes.Sigma introduced a new area, made the Doku cutscene playable with new parts of Hayabusa village playable and Doku a sort of boss in the second level, new enemies, axed the missions from Black, added the dual swords, and made Ninpo the most gimmicky it's ever been in the series. Also had weird loading issues where it would sometimes load mid-combat or at odd times if you moved too fast. Honestly it's the worst version of the first game, with the Vita version being the absolute worst.
WTF?!!I'd like to also make a mention that "stuns" don't really exist at all in NG3 (one of it's innumerable flaws). Enemies constantly just charge up their grabs attacks, which can't be interrupted with attacks of your own. Absolute stupidness.

WTF?!!I can't imagine how badly they screw up NG3., I'm glad I didn't pre-order it.
I heard Hayashi was in charge of NGB.Hayasha made NGS/NGS2/NG3
Itagaki made NG/NGB/NG2
No, that was Itagaki. We was determined to make the ultimate game on the console before moving on to the 360.I heard Hayashi was in charge of NGB.
