We'll see who it is then. Let's hope DOAXVV remembers that Year of the Ninja thing before the end of that marketing campaign, though. Considering they added Tina precisely BECAUSE of the 25th anniversary of DOA among other things, they'd have to be nuts to just ignore Ninja Gaiden's marketing campaign, especially when Ninja Gaiden is pretty much the reason why Dead or Alive, much less the Xtreme games including XVV, even exist. And quite frankly, if I were them, I'd definitely make sure to take full advantage of the event to add Rachel into the game.

EDIT: I also noticed they didn't actually say they are doing a Livestream regarding this, which means it may be the first time since I think Amy or Koharu that we got a girl announced WITHOUT a livestream being used (not counting Tina due to it just being an offhand admission in the anniversary livestream).

Lisa is never happening, let's be honest. In fact they are kinda steering Venus away from the main DOA IP in general. Prism is proof of that.

Didn't one of the Japanese YouTube things outright mock Sakuda for removing most of the DOA girls in Prism, though? This one, to be precise:

I'm doubtful Prism will end up influencing DOAXVV into adding more OCs at the expense of the cut girls.

Either way, the only time we can definitely say Lisa, or any cut girl for that matter, is not happening is if they shut down the game without ever including any of them, or at the very least announce there won't be any new updates like with Mario Kart Tour (and let's not forget, even Sakuta made it clear in two publications [Famitsu and I think 4Gamer] that they're highly wanted, and they still repeatedly ask in the polls whether they want mainline girls in the game. Heck, with the Steam version, they even specifically asked who specifically they wanted in [too bad they had a glitch with the answer, though, and not just for that question, for similar questions as well, and it took until AFTER the poll ended for them to answer]).

EDIT: Also, there's this article as well, which if anything indicates that Sakuta probably is aware of Western reception to DOAXVV by now (presumably also aware of the demand for cut girls being even larger than expected, and based on Famitsu and 4Gamer in two separate events, he at least knew they were a high demand in Japan):

And correct me if I'm mistaken, but I don't think we had any actual ambiguous 18 year olds since... ever (Marie Rose was one of the starter girls, so she really doesn't count. And Kanna's explicitly over a millennium old, so she doesn't count either). Probably the closest might have been Lobelia, and even there, her being at least as tall as Fiona if not slightly taller in-game (and Fiona's taller than Marie Rose anyways, even if still on the small side) is a pretty big hint that she's indeed 18, even if flat bread. And Luna has a large enough breast size that she obviously is 18 even if short.

Realistically i never expect Lisa in this game, just a lil delusion mixed with coping for anyone actually from DoA being added lol. Im more so wishing theyd just make an actual proper X4 with the missing girls

tbh at this point I don't care either way, but if they're going to add someone I pretty much only care if it's an NG/DOA girl, since the new girls don't really have much of a good track record with me

(I'm willing to be pleasantly surprised for once but I'm not gonna hold any breath)

The long and the short is, he won't be present for the livestream itself due to personal matters, but he did reveal that Bridcutt was voicing the character at his personal request due to her apparently playing a role in her creation.

I think by ambiguous he means more with their personalities and appearances since alot of the 18 year old girls in VV are either somewhat childish, have baby faces, or are short. I think Yukino is probably the only major 18 year old who doesn't fall in that trait since shes 5"5 and she at least acts more mature than the others, shes my favorite out of the 18 year olds since she acts the closest in age to me, or people I'd hang with. The other 18 years are kinda not on that mark besides maybe Fiona, shes just love struck 24/7, and Lobelia despite being a bit of a loli(I'm not into lolis) is mature, she just acts fast for her age

As far as the new girl, I'm not feeling her clothes or design yet from what I've seen but her chibi silhouette shows what looks like long, wavy, loose(at least somewhat, I won't be surprised if she has some or maybe a part of it tied up since VV doesn't like super long hair xD) hair which got my attention since we hardly have any long haired girls as of late. I just HOPE that this girl is released for both DMM and steam like Reika was. I'm not gonna be happy if I have to wait for half a year for her and Meg who's not out yet

Probably the only one who really matches that description you gave is Luna (again, not counting Kanna as she's literally over a millennium old), and even she isn't exactly acting that childish (probably the closest we got to an actual childish character besides Kanna was Koharu, and that's solely due to her tendency to speak in third person in the Japanese version. She if anything tended to act more mature than most due to her more formal language), which essentially means we don't have any ambiguous 18 year olds (Fiona's about Kokoro's height, same goes with Koharu ultimately. There's definitely no way with their height that Misaki or Nanami could be ambiguous, and Lobelia is at least the same height as Fiona going by her bio data, while in-game, she if anything appears slightly taller than her if we go by Owner Room posing (had she been a loli, she'd be SHORTER than Fiona, about Luna or Honoka or especially Marie Rose's height). Also Amy when we get down to it).

So far as the new girls is concerned, considering just HOW much trouble it was for me trying to get Reika in both versions (to say little about translating her episodes, and I had to stress my finances with their stupid "birthday episodes per suit" policy at the time as it is, to say little about trying to get cauhgt up with at least one birthday reissue and also getting Elise's 1st paid SSR during that time), I'd rather they just stick with the usual method of release rather than a global release. Besides, the anniversary survey for the Steam version had a question specifically asking which of the mainline DOA girls they wanted in, so if anyone's getting a global release, it's a cut girl (hopefully Rachel so they can cash in on that Year of the Ninja thing they've got going on).

To me it seems like most of the new girls have been pretty mature, and I’ve liked most of them: Yukino, Reika, Shandy and maybe Meg even?

As far as Team NINJA goes with keeping trust from NA audience, they are blowing their momentum on many levels. We will have to see what is left to be announced this year if anything.

I can’t see myself being entertained by any of their possible selections. The new girls looks like a hot topic high schooler and let’s say one of the “cut” girls we get is Mila. Oh goodie, we got one of the most generically crafted and boring character of all time.

NiCO would be a welcomed addition to me, she has way more layers than Mila as a character. Infact this new character has some NiCO vibes to me, but if it’s not her and she bares resemblances it makes this whole thing even worse.

Lisa and Christie deserve to be in the game by default. The fact that we only have Patty is kind of sad and pathetic if you know what I mean.

As far as Christie goes. Jesus Christ. How is she not in!? She’s one of the most recognizable characters in the series.

If TN didn’t capitalize on Rachel that would be their own damn fault, but they could still announce her closer to the end of the year to tie in with the release. Especially since there hasn’t been many new Venus this year.

One thing's for certain, it certainly won't take too much time to put a cut girl in compared to making a new girl from scratch (they'd first need to actually do designing of the girl and figure out what aspects they need to draw out regarding the character, then try to hunt down the right voice actress to convey it, and all of that. At least with cut girls, they have already established voice actors, and they only need to either port directly or at the very least tweak their already established models into the game. And the voice acting and designing of the girls will only take a couple of months at most based on the viral marketing campaign they did with Tina.). And I believe ALL the cut girls should get in, yes, that includes Mila. Even if I didn't like her, I'd still want ALL the DOA girls in, no exceptions (well, none except for explicit collaboration characters like Mai, Pai Chane, Naotora, Sarah Bryant, and Rio and/or clones like Alpha, Alpha-152, and/or Phase 4 anyways). Heck, due to Christie being a villain, I don't like her all that much, yet the fact that I'm willing to get even the likes of her into the game shows my dedication to making sure ALL the girls get in.

So hopefully they use their heads and actually do their part in promoting Year of the Ninja by adding Rachel in. And I also hope they actually get back on track to actually adding more than one girl per year (just one per year is TOO dang risky).

For the new girl's birthday, more likely than not it's going to fall on November, October, August, or maybe April worst case scenario, as those are the only months with less than three girls in there already (two for April, August, and October, one for November).

From what I gather, her occupation is working part time at the family business (a diner more specifically), her hobbies include touring, batting center, and collecting souvenirs of the places she's visited, she's meant to be a Yanki, and she's a fangirl of Tsukushi and her manga (in fact, Tsukushi and her manga is the reason why she arrived with her motorcycle in tow). I think she also saved the Owner from an umbrella falling on him in another teaser clip (though it's initially framed in such a manner that made it seem as though she was going to beat him to an inch of his life). Her favorite foods are Canned Coffee and Chikuzenni.

Well, in any case, she'll do, though I DO request they make SURE Rachel gets in sooner as opposed to later, especially with that Year of the Ninja thing. They earlier said that they'll add DOA/NG girls to commemorate special events, and Year of the Ninja last I checked matched the definition of a Special Event.
