So a few folks have noticed, most have not yet. But I am a moderator now. Moreso for character boards, I am going to be moderating the Ayane sub-forum from now on. I'll be working on keeping our forum neat and tidy and less cookie cluttered. Keep things up to date and some other things.

There are some threads here I want gone and others cleaned up, so I'll be sure to get on that tonight.

I'm also going to be more active with my Youtube channel for a video thread. I'd like it if others would use their Youtube channel for the same reason here. All in all, I'm going to try keeping this place organized for us.

BTw, did I missed something or why are people online recently complaining about Ayanes 4P? I mean, if you mash it and still win, they deserve to be destroyed by it, lol

4P is so bad when you're fighting someone good lol. Granted it's a good tool, but the fact that it's punishable on block, and on hit, and has no kind of mixup in it's followups, which are also punishable on block, makes it really risky. Yes it tracks, crushes highs, and launches on CH, but the reward you get from those CHs, doesn't really make it worth it due to how punishable it is, the only time it's really that damaging is if you get a Hi Counter with it.

Getting 65 damage for counter hit is definitely worth it. Especially if you're using BTPP6P~K instead of BTPP4PP7K since that knocks them hella far away from you and forces them come to you again. That also sends them flying into a wall/dangerzone within' range, which is extra damage (essentially 75, which is what you get on hi counter). On hi counter it's 75 damage, so honestly it's good on both counter hit and hi counter hit and you'll be doing the same thing.

If you know someone will throw you, 4P hi counter hits them. If you know highs are coming, 4P counter hits them. 4P also launches in threshold. These are the only times where your 4P should ever come into play. It'll never be that kind of tool you throw out on a whim.

Because people online like to complain about anything and they think that 4P is this godly, "unbeatable" move. It is good, but risky as hell when not being used to CH someone or during threshold. I guess it doesn't help that most Ayane's online spam the hell out of 4P without thinking about it making us look bad.

Also, LOL @ Hajin being the "Hajinmod Representative".

Hey guize! I was just wondering if 236k was a good move for whiff punishment from a distance. Say for example the opponent whiffs but 3h+k or 4k cant connect because you're pretty far apart, but since 236k has more distance do you guys think it will be the better option for this situation? I just think its good because it has good reach and causes great pushback so you will still be in your spacing game after you connect the kick.

lol at some random online heavy Zack player beating me when I picked Marie Rose (a character I barely play), spamming 6P free cancels and 6K2K sweeps you can't block in 2-bars. Leaves, messages me saying "Good luck at TFC, you'll need it LOL."

You low held out of stun on every threshold attempt, you low held out of throw punishment, and you just hit buttons in lag. I swear, every time I make a small public lobby on XBL (which is rare) to test something out, I get one of those typical XBL online warriors that take online seriously. They see my name and think it's an opportunity to prove themselves "online". You can have your online wins brah, if that makes you feel good.

People are so delusional on XBL, and have no idea how different the game is offline. Y'know, where people can actually do something, like react. DOA online community (especially on XBL) is just drama and hate.
