No Soul Calibur 6 announcement...I am honestly really disappointed... .__.

Lol. I woke up from a nap, went to Freestepdodge, saw there was a notification, was expecting something big.. but no. I hate you! (with love)

I share the same feeling, it's disappointing, but you know... there are so many fighting sequels about to be released in the coming years (Tekken, SF, even KOF), so maybe they wanted to wait a bit in order to make their BIG return in peace.

They know the community wants it and more importantly they know it could be as successful as SC4 if they wanted, so I'm sure the serie is not dead.

I'd rather they wait until the lull after Tekken 7 drops, or announce development right after Tekken drops.

The last time SC encroached on ol' man Tekken, we got the incomplete SC5.

I only like & have played SC for >10 years. Only use Talim so on SCIIHD now.
I've tried the other fighters (DOA, Tekken, VF, SF) but always go back to SC. Guess I'm a minority.
Now thinkin of hittin SFV when it hits, esp if there's no SCVI news before then.

I had no idea there was such an event in Dubai.
That's great. This region of the world is becoming more and more important in the video game industry.

Hence the need to have a character from there.

Yeah, they wouldn't wait that long. The character poll they did 2 months ago is still pretty fresh, and they wouldn't just do it for something that'll come out like a year later

I didn't even play 5. I unlocked all charas & stages (w/Natsu) & then quit.
Never even tried online.

I was really disappointed with SC5. Imho the worst iteration of the complete series. The story mode was shit and only half done. One could clearly notice this, they didn't even have to admit it, what they actually did later. The other modes hardly interested me. What was even worse though, was what they did to the roster. Cutting their most popular fighters and adding cheap, inadequate copies... I mean, really, what the fuck?! It's as if they purposely wanted to piss off the fans as much as possible.
The only great thing were the graphics in my opinion. Easily the most beautiful fighter of the last console generation in design and in technical prowess. The image quality and some of the stages even hold up to current generation fighters, like Killer Instinct and MKX or Tekken 7.
Soul Calibur 6 might possibly look absolutely gorgeous...
