Southern Players

I got some good news, & some bad news.
I'll give out the good news 1st: Around the TN, Northern GA (& middle GA of course), Southern KY & Northern AL area, we have the scene! Around this area, there are about 6-12 players on the map.
The bad news: I have some ideas of location & even a local Murfreesburo (TN) spot I just heard about where we can have casuals or set up a tournament, but the problem is this. I've got NO problems getting to neither 1 of you guys around the area. I wanted to set up the gathering/casual spot in Middle TN that way folks can get there based on the location of everybody around the area, but I know that based off the way that folks around this area have posted, they don't have any intention of cooperating with the peers around this area & that's what has to be done here. We all have to think outside the box just a tad here & not try to get folks to come to each other within 15-45mins away because that's something that isn't guaranteed especially in this community. This is another reason why I'm recommending that you check your state-line borders closely.
While I still "can" get to you all & have casuals with each of you individually, I would like to get everybody involved in the spot because it would help our scene grow faster & give everybody more offline experience & make new friends & I'm not saying "Hey do this because I said so" because I understand everybody's situation & I don't wanna sound like I'm forcing the issue but everyone is happy this way. That's not what I'm saying at all. It's in everybody's best interest around this area. I'm also thinking about the Atlanta area scene because once this scene gets established, both of the scenes combined could be an absolute powerhouse! I say this because I know that I have friends like Reese, Rhythmik, Fred, & so that would be willing to come up & have a good time with us & some of us going down & having fun with them as well. Then we have Ratiz & Jamo from Kentucky who's not that far away at all from middle TN & he's working up there. Guys, this is something to think about. Seriously
. It would be a big leap for the regional scene & then we could just keep working from there. Then of course there's the Memphis- Mississippi-Alabama & TN-VA-NC areas & FL-GA-AL-SC, the Arkansas & Louisiana areas that needs work which LA has quiet a few players actually but it can be done. This all would result to more numbers for the offline scene in general.
Ask Master & Sweet Revenge how they got their scene. Ask Sorwah. Ask Return of the Shadow & Nykk Nykks how they got their scene. They all found them a middle ground in their area & built around it where everybody was happy. While Texas & California are very large states, the people that lived their built around a city in their area where people could get there within reasonable range. 1-5 hours at the most.
EDIT: Project Bokuho, Forlorn Penguin you & others can talk about your scenes too, lol. This thread is about every southern player.

I still say even though Texas's list hasn't grown higher yet, there's a lot more players there & more in Georgia. Florida & S.Carolina too. They just haven't stepped in here.

I live in Southern Virginia near Roanoke. It seems that most other people in VA are up north or on the coast.

WOW , You guys missed a shit ton of Texas players , i don't see DAHLSIM , ICE COLD EDGE , or even LONE WEAPON X ! What the hell is wrong with you people. And if I didn't know any better , I would have to say that people should be careful when talking about the O G's of Texas , Because i find it hilarious that Sweet Revenge's first offline tournament was my first offline tournament , and the first time Master and Sweet Revenge spent time getting casuals offline , It happened at a gathering in my Apartment!

"We weren't kidding when we said "soon"! We are pleased to announce KIT 2014! There are big changes this year so here is a little breakdown:
-KIT will be a 3 day event this year!
-KIT will be featuring not only Tekken, but 8 other games as well, including Street Fighter IV, UMVC3, SCV5, Injustice, Super Smash Bros, DOA5 Ultimate, Persona 4 Arena, and even the new Killer Instinct!
-Every game, that's right every game will be streamed!
-Preregistration will open up in September, and is required!
-This year we rented the whole venue, making it even bigger and more spacious. Plenty of room to get hype!
We will be releasing more information on schedules, website information, and other details relatively soon, so be sure to keep an eye out!
