Not really. For some dumb reason I want the max rank, but I'm not having fun playing the game at all. I'd rather hook up my og xbox and play 2U or 3 if I ever need to get my actual fill of DoA in and with Outer Worlds being absolutely fantastic, the only time I'm probably going to be playing doa6 is at the local monthly we have here in Orlando just to help keep it going for others and to hang out.

I think major changes would be great. Kula Diamond is one character that should be nerfed pretty hard before a 30,000 tournament.

Some of the same people that wanted Alpha banned are playing as this character and BladeZ and I both agree that Kula Diamond is a much much bigger problem than Alpha ever was.

Some of the same people that wanted Alpha banned are playing as this character and BladeZ and I both agree that Kula Diamond is a much much bigger problem than Alpha ever was.

Kula Diamond is fucking cancer.

She is highly counterable and way easier to predict than Alpha. Kula has a very limited pool of moves to pull from and she isn’t necessarily a hard hitter. I think I’m a tournament setting, she would be a rather dangerous choice.

Why is nobody countering her in top play then? Alpha had just as small as a move pool and you could avoid almost everything she has simply by ducking.

The hard hitting thing. Please do explain because all see is Kula shredding health bars mindlessly.

Kula Diamond is indisputably the best character in DOA6 right now.

That's just my opinion, of course. But it's my opinion that it's a mother-fucking fact that Kula should be nerfed.

Well BladeZ disagrees with you and he has already won thousands with the character, and he won big prize money with Alpha too and said that she was hit too hard with nerfs.

More than nerfing X or Y character I mean mechanic changes, just like SC VI will do.

SC VI will also bring back a SC V mechanic, Brave Edge, so DOA6 could do the same and bring back SDS, ground game and the old SS attacks.

Alpha was WAY worse than Kula.....Kula doesn't even come close to the BS Alpha could do.

Idk about that tbh, Alpha was only really scary because she had 3 CBs to watch out for and she had that burst throw on hi counter and that one OH, but other than that she's not really that bad. Kula is much safer and she can get away with alot more and it doesn't help that her throw damage is also good too on hi counter or so and she's scary up close and from a distance with her low trips and such

If alpha was in DOA6 I don't think she would be as good as Kula is, even if her damage for her one burst was still intact which they'd probably nerf and her CBs would probably be useless. But Kula and Alpha are both still cheap characters regardless tho

She is imo, at least more than Alpha is, she's pretty safe for a 9i striker and she even has that 22i flip kick that looks unsafe but is +0. And in DOA6 on hi counter her throw damage is still fairly high, she just doesn't have any real threatening throws like launchers or resets.

Alpha's only really horrific throw is the burst one that takes half your health but we have Bass for that now in DOA6 and pretty much almost every character's throws on hi counter or counter are lethal enough to be threatening

Not breaking 100 damage on a 12i throw on hi-counter is not really that great. Even her throws that go into the wall don't break 100.

I do agree that Kula is extremely annoying at times, but that was mainly due to her Ice Breath, which got nerfed recently.

Her lows are significantly lacking and unsafe. Her throw damage is average at best. And at close range, I think she is most vulnerable. Even still, the ninjas are still far more troublesome than Kula.
