Instant decapitation via bare hands > broken bones

Ryu can do the former and the latter, whereas the others can only do the latter. Ryu wins, again. Ryu always win. Mofo is OP as hell.

Ryu instantly regenerates from broken bones and fatal wounds as well due to his spiritual energy. It's the reason getting impaled or getting his throat cut doesn't instantly kill him.

Naruto must be pretty popular. I have Toonami for that though.

That's just for gameplay balance, like how Ryu doesn't just rip people up with wind blades in DOA to intentionally gimp himself and play more "fair." There's no such thing as having a resistance to decapitation.

And in the same vein, no such thing as resistance to broken bones or snapped necks.

Looking at Ryu's skill with the falcolns talons shows what his true hand to hand skills are like. He just says fuck frames let's play chest burster game. also in NG3 Ryu has developed defenses to those type of moves

I don't think bladed weapons dictate hand to hand skills

Um...no, they are bout equal. Both result in insantly incapacitated opponents.

Sides, from pure strength, I'm sure Leon could just rip heads straight off, if he wanted to

Not seeing anything that says Ryu is anything special without his weapons.

Ryu's skills with the Talons are directly linked to his hand to hand capabilities the only difference being his stabs becomes punches and his slashes are chops, keep in mind those are coming from a man whose strength is such that he can compently use a 100lb sword. most swords are only about two pounds , if he hits you it's gonna hurt

This is what happens if Hayabusa punches another DoA character when his strength isn't gimped down for gameplay reasons/ story convenience. He killed someone at Tengu calibur with his bare hands. He doesn't even need the Dragon Sword to get the job done either.

unlikley. while Ryu's strength feats are more than enough to kill a human like us, the DOA fighters are a bit more difficult. dam near nothing has been shown to really cause them harm. Zack and Lisa can both fight just fine after multiple story drops it doesn't even faze them and zack landed on his head.

Stab Alpha, she dies. Shoot Kasumi with ninpo, she dies. Punch Tengu enough (a suicide mission for an average human due to his badassery over basically the whole playable roster) with Hayabusa, he dies. True Dragon Sword+ninpo=dead Genra. Ninpo = dead Raidou. Blade slash to the face/chest = fucked up Bayman. Blast from Alpha = fucked up Lei Fang/whoever.

let me correct that dam near anything causing blunt damage has caused them harm. such as a fist fight or dropping 10 storys, their bones do not give way to much.

well I like to think that the DOA characters are made of kevlar or witches, an Izuna drop 20 ft in the air off a cliff spinning at several hundred miles an hour would smash anyone's head like a watermelon. including Hayabusa himself just a small Izuna in a room smashes heads in NG think what an Izuna from a 200 foot drop would do.

Same can be said with the guilotine throw Busa literally pulls off heads with that throw in NG yet again in DOA to make things "fair" all it does is just wind them a bit, not to mention that Busa is technically invincible when he dies and even THAT takes some doing a cut throat/stab through the heart barely leaves a scratch, Ryu can come back to life through the spirit of the falcon I mean Ryu dies in Ninja Gaiden 1 before chapter 3 of the game that's the plot of the story.
