Funny. I first thought you were referring to the red and black skull-head one from the Special Sets. (The old save bonus from vanilla NG3.) Although, I kinda like the creativity of the mummy outfit. Makes sense given the month, too.
As a side note, who suspects this was originally gonna be a straight up pack of outfits? Fiend Rachel is kinda Halloween related, but Princess Kasumi, Gladiator Leon and Viking Bass don't exactly scream "Halloween."
Princesses, gladiators, and vikings are fairly common Hallowe'en costumes.
If you mean his DLC one from NG2 and not the epigonos one, I agree.
Does Bass normally dress up as Viking? Was there ever a time where he went on a voyage with his gang of fellow-viking to pillage villages and rape women?
No. Hence costume, hence Halloween fun. Plus the outfit looks stellar on Bass. He should have had it from the get-go.

I think they got a lot more buffed compared to their doa3/2u version (the ones I prefer), or maybe its just more detail or maybe its just me =P , but damm ryu on ninja gaiden is realy on steroids! lookt at those biceps/veins xDThe ninjas are still athletic looking. The male ninjas and non wrestlers in this game have quite lean athletic builds. They could all hit the gym a little bit more... especially jann lee imo. Ryu seems to be toned down vs his ninja gaiden renders

Abs mean your strong most of the strong guys I see in real life dont even have defined six packs. Watched Man with the Iron Fists the other day and Batista was still strong didn't have abs.

Far out Ryu is an absolute tank! That is one chiseled, buffed up ninja. Is there anything this leather-clad legend doesn't have going for himself? He has his own game, an iconic Izuna drop move that would look good in anyones move-list & probably has a bevy of busty ninja women hanging around his dojo waiting for the Vigoor-slaying,leather-hugging boss to wander through the oriental divides so they can give him the Midas touch, massage-style after a hard day of Izuna dropping fiends. & Just look at the ropes of muscles & those thick rippling veins snaking up his arms like messy cables. Love him or loathe him, Hayabusa is quite simply "the man".
No, not really... Visible abs and generelly defined (but not huge) muscles mean, you have very low body fat. Tekken and Soul Calibur really do this well on their characters in different gradiants, depending on their fighting style.
Maxi for example is slim, very defined, but more fast than strong:
Then there are characters like Siegfried, who are very strong. They wield heavy einhänders, seem more bulky, but less defined. Unfortunately I didn't find a pic of Siegfried topless...

what tyaren speaks of, is a perfect exemple of what i was saying, maxi= a physic for a fast character, very muscled like sigfried looks better for slow characters

i wasn't having a go at you or your opinion so my apologies if my post came across that way. I was just simply referring to the pic you posted itself & just about Ryu himself as a character in that particular screenshot, that's all. Just so we're on the straight & narrow, I wasn't trying to belittle your opinion in any way, shape or form. If anything i always respect anyone's opinion no matter how much it differs to my own. Did DoA3 by chance take place before Ninja Gaiden? He looks young and lean here.
A now more muscular Hayabusa would make sense in my opinion, after what he's been through in the NG series.

Im pretty sure doa3 is after ng1/black (because ayane is younger in ng,14 I think), dont know about ng2/3 (I have ng2 but dont know sorry).anyways this kind of thing has no logic (u said youre a graphic disigner so u probably know this better than me), they change the models based on whats modern in the present day and ng came out after doa3; anyways I agree with what brute said, they can be a little random/lazy with male characters, "copy/paste, skin tone and done", we see that a lot these days, mass effect for exemple (though mass effect is understandable given the length/diversity of that game)
