I'm pretty sure "character development" is a foreign term to...whoever writes these characters, quite frankly. These characters don't 'evolve;' their personality suddenly, inexplicably changes in order to suit whatever role they were arbitrarily given in a particular game.
They do this too much, and it deviates from what made them "badass"

Wow these last several pages that had nothing to do with DoA and were about memes are the symptoms that this thread needs to be locked. I doubt the mods are keen of the idea of babysitting the daily off topic nonsense that transpires here anyway.

We handle our own shit no "babysitting" is really needed.

Mila comes from Milagro, since she's spanish. It means Miracle.
On that note, I think shes just got a Spanish name, heritage at most. II'm pretty sure she's American. there's literally nothing Spanish about her beyond her name. Like how my name is as Irish as you can get without a preceding "O'", but I'm not from Ireland at all, just Irish heritage.

Helena is everything but French, if you're going to put things into that perspective. At least if you have Japanese voices.

Everyone's pretty much either American or Asian.

well, not really. at a glance you can still see her as a European noblewoman, at least. Everyone else I can make a guess based on things show about them, but Mila? bbig fan of prowrestling, tomboy who dresses a little redneck, and works in a diner (toms diner) while doing MMA circuits. everything screams American with her. also I just realized she works at toms diner.

Helena has every stereotypes from a foreigner's point of view haha : elegant, haughty and sophisticated, Versailles, etc. Except that she has showers (I think).
But yeah.

Relax and take the loss like a man. The thread is positive again.

This is actually true.

Growing up in American doesn't make her one.
And she doesn't dress like a redneck.

Not that I really care anyway.

*Is from a redneck community* yes she does, and I love her for it, adds to her tomboy nature. Also, yes growing up in America does make you one lol. ethnicity may be vaguely Hispanic, but the nationality would definitely be American.
