Which designs to you have in mind Argentus for instance ?
Do you mean what I think does fit, or what I think doesn't fit?

This is of course putting aside my eternal frustration generically skimpy or generically "cute" outfits for Mila, the girl who is supposed to have the normal, casual or sporty looking outfits.

Secondary topic,am I the only person who prefers Helena's doa2 theme (Blazed Up Melpomene) over her doa3 theme (blood ties)?

Buy me a box of 82 crayons and some construction paper and I'll get started. Don't go cheap and get that 3rd rate paper either, only crayola brand please. Joking aside, there is a line between sexy and nasty, that outfit is nasty. Hitomi's character isn't apart of that trope, doesn't suit her at all.

It's a Halloween costume, WHY must it suit her? The Succubus Costume doesn't suit Helena nor Kokoro and despite the Chinese Origins of the Jiang Shing, it doesn't fit Lei-Fang in the slightest, so how does it work for Halloween costumes at all?

*Sigh* People tossing out that word without knowing what Racism really is...

Naw... This one is kind of touchy... For one, trying to dress up specifically as another "ethnicity" as a costume typically doesn't go well under most circumstances. Mainly, because it's probably going to be a ridiculous and/or inaccurate stereotype. I'm not about to go as a Mexican or a Roma for Halloween anytime soon, for example. And then, everyone pretty much knows the horrors of blackface. If it's a specific famous person it becomes a little more lenient, though. (Blackface is still pushing it even then.)

And two, "Squaw" in general isn't a widely liked term. From our lord and master Wikipedia...
Apart from the linguistic debate, the word "squaw" has become offensive to many modern Native Americans because of usage that demeans Native women, ranging from condescending images (e.g., picture postcards depicting "Indian squaw and papoose") to racialized epithets (Green 1975). It is similar in tone to the words "Negress" and "Jewess," (Adams 2000) which treat ethnic women as if they were second-class citizens or exotic objects."
It's just a bad road to go down overall. And why would that be an idea for Hitomi of all people...?

Honestly, I'd argue that Succubus Kokoro does suit her, in that I find the design comes off as more cute than sexy, or maybe even sexy in a cute way. That said, in regard to that Hitomi costume, I really think it just looks bad overall. Everything about it is just a big 'no' to me, and it really doesn't matter who wears it; it's still gonna look like that, and it'd be just as much of a no on Tina or Helena or Lisa or Leon or whoever.

I feel for ya.

Shitty days for me too.

Wells Fargo decided to backlog a couple overdraw fees, even though my checks should have covered it, so two straight paychecks have been eaten up entirely by overdraw fees that shouldn't exist. So I'm technically starving and have only 36 dollars to next Friday which is only going to be less and less due to work slowing down.

Was gonna use some of it to go to a buffet but since I can't afford gas to drive there anymore I'm going to jack in the box because fuck it I'm really really hungry. Only had three packages of ramen and an old can of chili over the past week.

Exactly my point. It's something Lisa would wear because she seems to have a background for it.

I thought that Hitomi design literally was based off a woman's nazi uniform just with the arm band removed so it wouldn't be too distasteful

Still a Halloween costume, you haven't seen any of the skankiness of the ones in the real world?

Bad Penguin! *Hits Penguin with a newspaper* Think about what you've done now!

Yes I have but in case you haven't noticed skanky costumes are normally only worn by skanky women. The issue isn't the costume, its who its on that is the problem.

That type of costume doesn't fit her persona. Hitomi doesnt have a skank mentality of herself, so why give her a skank costume? Like I said it's nasty for the sake of being nasty because someone wants to see some virtual ass crack and a nipple slip. That's as far as the thought process goes for it. The design is ugly. It's not sexy, it's not cute, it's not "good." It's skanked. Period. Stop trying to justify it.

Now, if you like that uniformed Hitomi costume, we may be able to become buddies.
