Even though I main the character I honestly am having trouble buying that Hayate is top 10.
He's got tracking, decent damage, a good sidestep, decent crushes, alright mixups, a solid throw game with his biggest issue being that essentially all of his strings and even a few of his single strikes are immensly telegraphed, interruptable and unsafe. Essentially he's a jack of all trades. And a master of literally none.
I could see how these tools would put him in mid, high mid, maybe even low high tier, but top 10? Explain to me what exactly is so amazing about this char that suggests he is among the best characters in the game.

Hayate is a crush extraordinaire. Better than Zack is, imo.
Then again, we all know that the only word in Blazeincarnated's vocabulary is "Zack" and random, inapplicable Rock Lee gifs, so I don't think we really have to address him every time he says them.

Have to be brutally honest, that's actually a very simple and effective way of thinking about it but it's that same mindset that leads me to put Ein in bottom 5. I still haven't been able to think of 10 or even 5 characters that he is superior to.

Believe it or not bottom 10 or 5 is still low mid tier in this game IMO. I don't think there are more than 3 low tier characters and Ein definitely isn't one of them. IMO Ein is better than Lisa, Tina, Eliot and Brad Wong. I definitely agree Ein is within the bottom 10 or 5 but good enough to break out of low tier.
