Interesting that the blue parry or tech guard might be a throwback to Fighter Vipers 2 of all things, lol, crazy if true. And cool theory that Stella might have something to do with Dural, but if she's actually Dural herself... not so sure about that, because compared to Dural, Stella seems like a downgrade in power. Personally my guess is that she's Sarah's daughter from the future or something, lol (the only thing we have to go off of is that she's supposed to be a "bridge" of some kind, maybe a bridge between two times? two worlds?).

I'm not sure if Stella is Sarah's daughter. Story-wise, it wouldn't made sense because looking at Akira, it probably been like at least a decade has past after VF5 events. And what can trigger the event of Sarah getting pregnant at that time? Plus, VF is supposed to be "realistic". Time travelling will be SO out of place. And please, for the love of GOD, Sega and RGG, don't follow the same situation of the time skip like Namco did with Tekken and Soul Edge/Calibur for the female cast.

However, there is a possibility of Stella still can be related to the Bryants: perhaps a younger sister or relative that J6 kidnapped, once again, to trigger more PSTD for the Bryant family. And I don't think she's a new Dural either. Because Dural herself (and her robotic clones, according to the lore) copied moves from the other fighters. And Stella only shown to have Sarah's moveset.

Time traveling would be, imo, not as technically out of line as much as Dural's existence is... VF is realistic up to a point, mostly when it comes to its fighting and gameplay, but then there's advanced futuristic tech in storyline. That said, yeah I do get what you mean about using the same tropes other FGs use in their stories, it's a risky move if true. I'd love it if VF actually wasn't afraid to age up characters realistically unlike other games rather than use loopholes like conveniently replacing characters with new ones that have the same moves or using story or lore to keep them looking young, but imo Stella is looking like she's following that idea so far, for better or worse (it's not like Sarah is gonna be returning if Stella clearly already has all her moves).

On a side note, I've gotten interested in reading up on all the VF lore I didn't know about, lol. It's amazing how much DOA took from VF even in terms of story, I would have never thought even Dural actually began as a kunoichi (Tsukikage, Kage-maru's mother) just like Alpha 152 and Kasumi... only difference is that the copying of other characters' moves became a Raidou thing instead (and later a Honoka thing). So I guess that's why Tricky made that theory because the first Dural wasn't a "combination character" at first but rather a brainwashed and cybernetically enhanced person, like they tried to do with Sarah, and they also used Vanessa to create V-Dural who's moves are more focused on Vanessa's than anyone else's (does J6 only want to go after women or what? lol).

It's actually the other way around LOL. Dural was first because she used mostly all of the characters' moves in-game and brings much more damage to the player, indicating she's a difficult boss to beat (regardless if you win or not). So, technically, in DOA lore, since Raidou was copying moves like her, it made "sense" because it makes him more intimidating as a boss character (and as whole when Itagaki expanded his character for DOA2 Ultimate's Intro video). That's probably how DOA got something from VF, besides being on Sega's Model 2 board for the first game. Oh, and we did see who's who in DOATEC and also finally saw Victor Donovan (with a mask though), unlike VF in which we STILL to this day don't know who's behind J6 besides having titles based on tarot cards (?).

And on J6 going after women, no, LOL. They go after anybody. If you read more, they had kidnapped Jean, who was Lion's friend, and also Goh, both whom were trained to be assassins for the organization. (But in Sega's eyes, I'm guessing we could've had a male Dural, based on the first game's CRF content, but I think they went with a female to be more unique for bosses at the time).

However back then, VF was a bit similar with Tekken at the time, due to Seichii Ishi being both games' "daddy', before Tekken 3.
