Let's hope Sega looks out for TN and make at least 1-2 guest characters from DOA as a thank you for them having the main popular VF poster fighters in DOA5 since 2012, least they can do so we can hopefully see some sort of DOA continuation.

Publisher SEGA and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have announced an untitled new Virtua Fighter currently in development. Platforms and a release date were not announced.

XD well Najd did exist in KOF after SNK got bought by the Saudis... but nah, it's in the title above his name in the video, he's just there because the Saudis have their hands in esports now like they do with golf....
So, I thought my main Sarah was back but apparently it's someone new names Stella (ah, did I just have a DOA5 Zack moment? lol). But she has her moves, outfit (a bit different tho), and style, so I guess this means Sarah isn't coming back?
But yeah, that's Akira alright in the hat... nice duds, man.
But this has me thinking that this may be a time skip or something, rather than a reboot of the story... well, as long as they actually tell it in the game this time! lol

I wonder how pai will look if she returns?? I hope she gets something like this for her standard costume since its her best costume imo, it really adds to the thematic dramatic vibe her style has
Also hope they'll switch up her look and give her a default loose hairstyle and maybe keep some mini oxhorns and add a sort of fringe bang like her short hair.
And for Vaness I hope they make her VF4 dark and muscular again since that's her best designed in the series, and buff her hair back to VF4 length xD

Knowing Pai (if she's returning because since that's NOT Sarah, as I saw her name on the video, yet people say that's a different character named Stella), the developers will probably give her a qipao similar to Chun-Li in SF6 as she's "the realistic Chun-Li", just without the muscular thighs! LOL. If she's not in, I'm rioting!
The VF4 alternative was a nice outfit, inspired by Mongolian(?) fashion and it was pretty unique. It was also brought a sense of maturity for Pai since they gave her lower tone and pitch for her VA but then jump back to her VF3 pitch for 5 onwards.
I think VF4 they wanted to make her more serious but idk... i wasn't really feeling the voice direction since it made her seem kinda... like a bitch at times, or rather cold, like she was trying to emulate her dad. In VF5 I think they made her more energetic which I preferred since Pai still is young and didn't need to be a Sarah 2.0 since VF lacks any really bubbly girls besides Eileen and Pai, Aoi is somewhat like that but she's too nadeshiko and reserved to really fit that role so I think they made Eileen that type and restored Pai to her usual hot and cold persona since she can go from serious and somewhat confident to more vulnerable and bubbly if she wants to.
Hopefully in 6 they find a balance since SF6 imo did that good for Chun Li, serious at times but still youthful, SF5 did her kinda dirty with how they made more serious and kinda boring compared to SF4 but then again she was older in SF5 so I can see why I suppose. I hope Stella won't just replace Sarah tho, seems kinda strange to just toss away unless maybe it's just a name change to avoid Judgement 6 since they had kidnapped her already and brainwashed her, so it makes sense to enter with an alias to go under the radar.

Nah fam LOL. They were trying to make her sound like she's a grandma and I did revealed a couple of years back that Sega did have battle voices based on that pitch but then kept the VF3 sounds which made it very awkward and weird. What's even worse that Minami Takayama, Pai's VA, even had the VF4 quotes in her VF3 pitch! Bunch of mismatched pitches and tone when you unlocked her bonus win poses in 4 EVO.
Same exact thing when Namco did it for Julia in Tekken 4, who sounded way too old for a 20 year old. I think at one point, Tekken team probably thought of bringing Michelle back in the same similarity that Marshall Law returned by replacing his son, but then changed their mind at the last minute for Julia's "new purpose".
