I hope they overhaul their designs, this is their chance for them to make Lion an even more bratty rich kid like how Lili is, and for Lei Fei they can definitely show more of villainous side since we never see that besides in the VF5 opening. I wonder if Shun Di will have an expanded drink install system, and maybe more visual changes the higher wasted he gets like Jamie in SF6?
I also have a feeling that they'll include a Tekken character somehow as a sort get back from their VF5US collab pack, that or maybe it'll be costumes again. I think Lili, or pretty much any of the popular normal fighters with no special powers could make the cut but idk if VF6 will branch out to guest fighters, at least until they see the success post launch for season passes

I wonder when we'll get some news for trailers, and gameplay. I can't wait to see El Blaze in VF6 (assuming everyone is coming back). Such an interesting fighting game. I've completely put off every other game to play the beta; its so much fun, but I think the netcode and the game itself needs some tweaking. I have a pretty good high-end specs and I noticed some stuttering/dropped frames.
I might be experiencing a few bad connections because i'm playing on WiFi at the moment until I get ethernet rewired into my new office space, but the ping will randomly jump from 70-100 to 300+ and people start teleporting like M. Bison.
Nevertheless, I love that they're taking their time with VF6 - It was speculated/rumored for quite a while. People knew, but we were all just waiting for confirmation. I hope they return the favor and drop a DoA guest character. Someone like Ein would fit so well into VF or maybe someone stance heavy like Brad Wong. Although, they'd probably go with a poster character like Kasumi or Hayabusa.

If they realistically go with a DOA guest, I think they'll choose someone who isn't supernatural or powered in any way since Virtua Fighter is more a more realistic series and there's a major lack of any unrealistic elements besides the J6 organization's darker motives and Dural, even Kage is actually quite realistic as a ninja since its a legit style and I haven't seen anything too over the top from him that the other fighters can't pull off.
If they went that condition, I can see them using Kokoro(perfect as a style counter to Akira), Hitomi(Jean), Leifang(Pai), Helena(counter to Lion), or even someone like Eliot. If they did include a ninja, Ayane could be a likely choice since her style is more over the top moves over actual ninpo since she uses it far less than the other DOA ninjas, that or even Kasumi since only her teleports are used at times and even then she's using it to move at high speeds to get from point A to point B.
But then again, their collab with DOA5 was in 2012 up until 2017 when LR was done with support, so they really aren't obligated to give DOA a stepping stone. I think they'd more likely have someone from Tekken since their VF5US tekken pack was actually good with the costumes, it was just the lack of major support at that time since it was console only at the time

I could see that, especially since they could use a female assasin in the roster, plus that could create a built in connection to Lion since he's basically like Eliot design wise, and he's also French and rich like Helena and he uses the northern praying mantis style id imagine would be an interesting match up to Christie's Snake quan xD

I'll reserve judgement before I know what it is but if adding "meter" to VF is what they consider "innovation" we're in big trouble. Oh well, VF6 could be a pile of shit for all I care, I got rollback with REVO. Just give me a legacy collection of the older VF games with rollbaack too please.

I personally don't mind meter if it's done right (which it seldomly is in 3D fighters), but I trust the VF team to do it justice and balance it accordingly. I guess they have to do something to add some appeal to the series - game can't survive only on the hardcore audience, but being an honest fighter is what made VF special to me. There was no b/s; it's knowing your frames, matchups, and stage awareness.
We'll just have to see how this turns out.

I'm mostly loving all the details so far. I hope this is the biggest hit in VF history, this series deserves to be as big as SF and Tekken, if not more (not saying that's a possibility, just that I feel it deserves it).

New VF looks amazing. A lot of stuff needs work obviously, but the animation looks stylish and the realistic tone I am seeing seems right. I’ll be playing this day 1.

I'm curious if this is what the final product will actually play like. I love the idea of dynamic blocking and dodging in 3D fighters. This is definitely the next step in the evolution of fighting games and happy to see VF pioneering it. Curious as to how this works in actual gameplay when it comes to dodging/whiff punishing. Is it a mechanic, or simply holding the block button? So many questions. Can't wait to see more.
I think the Akira vs Sarah clone gameplay from 3-4 weeks ago is what the gameplay is actually more likely to look like as he was using his more traditional fighting style.
