But here is where we fall off that horse.... if we assume the number "30" is what is required to pop the threshold on CH, we already far ahead of that with a simple 3p, 3k, 7p. Changing it to 35 I don't believe makes it any different... it's still ahead of that.

In DoA4 the initial hit causing the stun did not reduce critical threshold, did it?
So the moves reducing the threshold are just 3K and 7P. Around 30Dmg for these two attacks with .6(?) dmg revision sounds reasonable imo.

In DOA 5, the initial hit matters.

pre-e3 bayman could 66k 3k 7p into CB.

e3 he could not, but he could 3p 3k 7p into CB.

The initial hit mattering is the only explanation, but the damage still does not add up.

Now he COULD be saying that 35 is the minimum amount of damage you have to land before you even use your CB, but that would mean every single CB in the game did the same exact uniform damage regardless of character or speed.

Which I hope isn't the case.

I noticed they removed the critical stun text from Jann Lee's dragon gunner. It doesn't pop up until after the first hit now.

Awesom vid. It shows some guaranteed setups from sit down stuns and CB. Shit, this looks very very promising.
I also liked the new "temple" stage. Looks like it comes from Tomb Raider. Just a beautiful view.

Too bad there is no Christie combos in there.

So only certain characters have OH's but they are not limited to grappler's?

For example Tina, Bass, Bayman and Kasumi could have them but Helena and Eliot may not?

I noticed that Rig has Bass's lauching throw, so Bass probably will get his back. It was also nice to see Jann-Lee :F+K: cause limbo stun again. It might just be me remembering wrong, but I don't remember it doing that it doa4. Overall, I'm happy with that vid, it looks like Shimbori isn't afraid of big damage like I originally thought he was.

If I understand well the words of Shimbori, the damage is the last thing confirmed by these video. Everytime is out a trailer, there is always a line that say that the damages are not completely definitive and that probably will be reduced in some moves and combo.

This is definitely a lot more pleasing to watch than most of the other trailers. Hope to see more vids like this one.

I have my reasons to be pleased by the other videos XD, but this was really nice and interesting from the gameplay point. Simply Team Ninja have regard for all kind of fans of the series.

Sorry for this question, but were you always able to cause ground bounce in mid juggle? That Kasumi 11 hit was very impressive!

Another thing I noticed that caught my interest was when Hayate's clothes was stained with Snow after getting bodied by Rig.

Although I enjoyed DOA4's sparring music, I have to give the nod to DOAD/DOA5 because it's a bit smoother and easier on the ears after spending hrs or so in the Lab.

I really like Kasumis juggle at 0:48. Its pretty beast considering how many ways she has to get the enemy in the air. Her 11 hit combo was sick aswell.

I'm a bit curious about the two sit down stuns Rig did back to back. I wonder if you do that does it continue to be unholdable.
